Rye House 2015

Recommended Posts

Does age even come into it? Hancock has been class - world class - since the day he arrived at Cradley and the fact he is arguably the best rider in the world right now is down to his remarkable ability, the way he looks after himself and/or the fact the Grand Prix doesn't have a plethora of quality riders like Rickardsson, Crump or Gollob etc.

Which Jason Bunyan will we see at Berwick tomorrow night ?

Probably the same Matej Kus we saw at Armadump tonight

Jason Bunyan was awesome as a guest for Glasgow tonight ... A very big Thank you to him

You'll be seeing a lot more of him next year

Does a fielding a poor team actually pay?

The number of paying fans and pounds per points are only estimates

This year Rye have had 18 home matches:

Say on average 250 adults @ £16 = £72,000

Say on average 100 concessions @ £14 = £25,200

Say on average 50 children @ £5 = £ 4,500

-------------

£101,700

Rye House riders (with bonuses) have scored 1,268 points @ say £60 per point = £76,080

Edinburgh riders (with bonuses) have scored 1,765 points @ say £60 per point = £105,900

That's a saving of £29,820 so far this season, so the big question to everybody who demands their team to strengthen, can your supporters increase enough to pay for it?

Without accurate figures it's impossible to say

  • 2 weeks later...

So, that's the season over then with a predictable collapse at Peterborough. Could someone please enlighten me with the advantages of having RR at number 5, then using a reserve in heat 13.

Also, why have an obviously weak guest at number 2 in Josh Bates when there are better options on that average?

R/R at 5 makes no sense, always for me, at number 2. Didn't you have Lambert booked though? So must of been best available at such late notice, or just the cheapest.

I agree, works far better at 2. Lambert was injured at Workington last night. Bates was probably the cheapest option seeing we've nothing hanging on the result today. That's the mentality at Rye House these days

Starting to know that feeling at the EOES regarding cheapest options.

Or it could be that Bates was at the meeting where Lambert was injured, and it was easy to sort him out as guest

That's my point. The easy option rather than a match winning option

Worrying indeed, Uncle Len might want Kasper back next year. :nono: He said Kasper's learned to gate at Glasgow if that's the case he must have really bad at Rye. :o

He can want all he likes. Kasper is very happy at Glasgow according to the Weegies I know. Kasper was asked what the difference is between Glasgow and Rye. He said the Glasgow track has 4 inches of dirt, Rye has half an inch.

Glasgow reserve pairing of Kasper and Jason Bunyan in 2015 ;)
