Shadders
Last season Alex Edberg rode at Somerset for Berwick and scored 1PT from 4 rides...He's started the season off pretty well according to the other half. 'Len' 'Yes John' 'Greenwood ?? I've heard that name before' 'Close enough, stick him in the team for Friday' Another tough decision made, now lets go down the Pub. Panthers89
A question, Haven't been to Rye since last year, so when visited Monday, was shocked to see all the work going on around the track, whats happening on the corners? New stands, leaving it flat? Just interested. Hope some banking or something, as was very flat the view, so could do with somewhere up a bit. Cheers in advance. When the Airfence went in last year it did restrict the view on the bends, so as far as I know the work in progress is new banking at both ends to rectify this. Haven't been there since Raiders P&P day as have been unwell but work on bends 3 and 4 seemed to be well underway. I'm sure that someone who really knows what is going on will post on here before too long.

As far as I know the banking on the bends is gonna be grassed over and there will be tiered seating on the back straight Edited April 8, 2015 by Shads
Odds On
the banking is being removed to unearth Lens fortunes and this in turn will be put back into the club/team!

Oafski
Less than 100ft Sorry you are right, it flows past the back of the pits doesn't it. I think I was using yards as a counter to miles. Yet another Senior Moment.
phillipsr
so who dod we think is the best replacement for Luke? Personally id like Dan Greenwod but not sure who he is an asset of. If were going to develop our own assests the Luke Chessel even tho i dont think he is read for the PL yet Mark Owen is looking good this year. Maybe a bit early for Bradley Wilson-Dean Dan Greenwood is doing okay Heard a little rumour that Ollie Greenwood may become available soon, would be my favoured option if comes about.
