Fromafar
good signing IMO ,his spell at Berwick I think he lost interest because he did not like the Shielfield track. He certainly had some good away meeting and fairly got stuck in on tracks he liked.Decent rider if in the mood. cityrebel
Sheffield initially brought him over, so they'll know. Took a drive past Rye Stadium this afternoon. Work on the 3rd/4th bends is cracking on. The seating has been removed and it looks like they're raising the terrace banking, so they'll be a better view over the air fence that's good news shads, that means I might be able to return to my old vantage point next season! Falcon Hammer
Disappointed that Nelson's not with us this year, was looking forward to watching his all-action style once again. Robin is a good replacement tho

Agree, he never really looked at ease around Berwick, but banged in some big away scores. Definitely a talented rider.

Rockets sign Robin Aspegren as replacement for visa victim Tyson Nelson, on a 6.39 average So only 0.01 below the points limit this year!! This is a Facebook message from Tyson Nelson:- Tyson Nelson Just want to say a huge thanks to Craig Jung for all he's support last yer and this year another huge thanks to Kevin Hill and Harty Julieanne Hart for all there hard work and awesome engines. SCB
He was always an odd on, real name Tyson Barber but wanted to be known as Nelson! Odd how he's got a work permit for two season over here, with a gap in the middle.
screm
Frustrating rider at times, capable of big scores but also capable of going through patches where you wonder where the next win is coming from. Seems to have done ok over the last couple of seasons racing in the Swedish Leagues, if he brings that form with him he could be a trump card for Rye House. westhamboy66
Pleased to see Robin in the side, shame about Nelson but to be fair with his comments on Facebook last year he let himself down badly and he's not the sort of person i particularly want to be around my team so no loss really

Ben91
Entertaining rider on track though never fulfilled his initial promise. Probably wasn't helped by taking a year out in 2012. Sounds like a less desirable character off track to put it mildly. Think Robin can do a decent job for us, possibly put his average up to the 7 point mark if he gets to grips with Rye. tocha
Completely agree with the comments about Tysons Facebook comments. He let himself down badly there. Whilst this line-up couldn't be any worse than in 2014 it should be considerably better. To start with, all but Luke and Steve will be getting racing elsewhere, something you observed at a time when only Jason G had another club. Also riding in the EL again ought to help Edward to be even more competitive. The only downside I see is rider availability. Robin is in the Vastervik side (Alvensken League) which may be an issue when visiting Thursday teams, Ipswich, Sheffield and Redcar. If the regs continue as 2014 then Rye will have first call on Edward. However, there have been whispers on the BSF that these have been amended inasmuch priority is granted to the club which is in the same league as the parent team, in this case EL Coventry. 2015 regs are unavailable online but I guess we shall find out later rather than sooner! Shadders
Away from the team for a minute, the state of the car park is absolutely shocking. It's like the surface of the moon out there. Not sure who's responsible for it. I suspect it's not Rye House Speedway Whilst this line-up couldn't be any worse than in 2014 it should be considerably better. Not sure who's responsible for it. I suspect it's not Rye House Speedway I have a feeling it is but I'd hope not as I agree it is awful and not a great first impression of the place. The crater at the entrance needs addressing urgently. After the recent rainfall it currently resembles a ford!

I hope he's right but I don't think he is. The Alvensken League ride Thursdays. Maybe the old boy hasn't realised Vastervik were relegated from the Elitserien last year. I always assumed the crater at the car park entrance was to catch out the visitors - locals and regulars know all about it! Maybe there's a local tow truck company on standby!

Looks like your correct Tocha, he is listed as riding for Vastervik in the Alvensken on Thursdays and guesting for Dackarna in the Elitseren on Tuesdays. Could be some Thursday clashes ???
