Rye House 2015

Recommended Posts

Another poor side put together. Kennett has no support whatsoever at the top end & even he fell away in most heats 13 & 15 towards the end of the season. Garrity isn't ready to be an 8 or 9 man yet as he's not consistent enough. Think some are getting carried away by his FTR scores.

Not signing greenwood again shows Silver hasn't got a clue. Good ability & not afraid to get stuck in & put himself about. Now discarded for some unknown reason.

Boxall & Bowen. Tedious. Will never get any better & have gone backwards.

Jakobsen could easily be another Lykke & that would Mean this side being unbelievably weak.

Nelson, who knows? Kid doesn't seem the most professional.

It's another bottom half/lower end side again & if the new Dane is dud then it's wooden spoon again. Very depressing but expect nothing less from silver. Hasn't put a decent side together in years.

Got to say we have become a miserable bunch. I think it's a mistake not having Oliver for Luke but actually that is nt the worst team at all. Don't forget boxall rode as our second heat leader for the first half of the season and JG was coming back from a seasons lay off. The new Dane looks a good prospect and nelson is always good value. Two strings reserve too.

its called reality.

Danny King would have been a far better number 1 at Rye than Kennett. As Chris says in heats 13 and 15 Kennett didn't impress me against quality number ones either at home or away.

Been a weakness since Linus left

Busk has more about him than some of the danes that come over. He may struggle on some away tracks, but can't see him being far off his starting average by the end of the season as long as he can avoid misfortune and injuries.

Rest of the side is solid enough. I don't see major improvements average wise, but they should all more or less hold their own.

Looks like mid-table, perhaps pushing for a play-off spot if they turn Hoddesdon into a fortress again.

Just enough for 2015, not many 4.6 riders score 16 at Workington as a Guest, and beat Hancock and Harris in a GP

Not many riders of Bunyans experience languish in the reserve spot and turn in so many pathetic performances in one season either. Pity the sixteen points wasn't for us
