Well at least it's better than this year's feeble outfit.

That's not bad that but don't know anything about Jakobsen. Any info on him ?

Little bit about him, remember watching a couple of meetings online, and had a decent style, but Pavlova looked alright abroad, and look how he turned out for Glasgow. I think Rye House will be a top half team with that line up.

Most Rye fans I know would be slightly disappointed with that line up.... I really hope one of that team kicks on or its another long year for Kennett for sure! I am surprised Kasper has decided to return though!

Decent signing in Nikolaj IMO. Noticed his name pop up a few times and he caught my eye on a couple of videos I've seen online. If he can get 6.5, Jason can continue his improvement, Boxall can come good after a yera back to settle back in, Kasper Lykke seems to be on an upward trajectory too. Not league winners but certainly not going to be losing at home every week.

Mind you, I had you down as going to do alight last year :/

I won't be travelling to as many away meetings next year, so as long as we can win the majority of our home meeting I'll be satisfied.

Without seeing other sides line ups it's difficult to predict how we'll finish

No idea how that team will do. A lot of uncertainties with a new rider to British Speedway, what Boxall and Garrity will turn up and will Nelson take his place. Would have liked to have seen a proven heat leader line up to take some heat from Edward but it's all about potential and that often goes belly up but could easily go well too

Will reserve judgement on Jakobsen til I see him but can't say I'm overwhelmed by the side. Be surprised if he meets his assessed figure.

Too many ifs around the side again. If Bowen can get going again. If Boxall has settled back in and has decent machinery. If Nelson will improve after a season away. If Garrity will ride to his true potential. If Jakobsen will be competitive. If Kasper has learnt to gate.

the team is very poor on paper,

Boxall is never going to be a heat leader.

Garrity could be a heat leader but looks like an accident waiting to happen.

The Dane if he averages 6 then that's as much as can be expected.

Bowen, will score the odd big score at home but away??..Rye may as well use a 3pt guest.

Lykke, cant gate so god knows why we have signed him.

Nelson, even if he does ride then a year out means he'll be way off of the pace to begin with.

Like I said the team is made up of individuals as opposed to a team ethic, with the likes of Nelson, Boxall and Garrity in the team then there's every chance of the balloon going pop at some stage of the season!

your posts sums it up for me - too many ifs.

Luke Bowen, goodness gracious me. Tyson Nelson, was he really that good in 2013? The new Dane, big big gamble, Kasper may be a fair reserve, Garrity,, depends on if he really wants to ride for Rye House, Boxall reserve standard in my view, Kennett I'm afraid is not a outstanding number one. Why no young Greenwood? Personally I think it's a rubbish 1-7. It ain't going to get people through the turnstiles, I think my speedway days at Rye are slowely coming to a end. But, we have got the yellow and black helmet colour back, coz the BSPA have listened to fans views.
