Edinburgh V Somerset (pl) 15/8/13 @ 7.30pm

Can't see us getting much out of this one,the Monarchs are almost as formidable at home as us. I think it would be a bit silly if the lads are chasing a lost cause and pick up unnecessary injuries. Our home form will get us in the play offs, that is the time to pull out all the stops. In saying that though I expect us to be competitive tonight and give Edinburgh a good match.

I think this is the decider for 1st pick on the play offs. Both teams have similar fixtures remaining so monarchs have a slight edge at the moment, whoever wins tonight should claim it. Although rain offs could still be the deciding factor.

We are a wee bit vulnerable at the moment so it will be close but I still expect monarchs to edge it.

Brady definitely and maybe Pontus and Paul have never even seen Armadale so a tough baptism for them I feel.

I would surprised if Paul hasn't ridden at the Dale.

Could Monarchs upset the Berwick/ Somerset apple cart with that win tonight?

Berwick are the ones chasing Edinburgh and Somerset. No apple cart really upset from our point of view!

I said I was not sure about Paul and Pontus, just a single point for young Brady as the Rebs go down by 55-39, once again not sure but is that their closest result this season at home.Great stuff from Nick Morris again.

As we did on Wednesday, rebels struggled with track conditions. Olly Allen especially! His extremely fast sooped up machinery made him next to hopeless here tonight. Can't just leave it wound on all the way round at the dale, a little technical ability required!

Great to see Deek scoring well, still showed a little of the weakness that cosy him on Wednesday but big improvement!

Brady an off night, but if it had been Play Off Somerset would still have won by 6 on aggregate

And Allen.

Bigeddiechek knows who the top 2 are.

I just hope Edinburgh can scrape a win next week, but I doubt it if Claus, and Matej are riding

Credit where its due, Sneddon scored well 2nite, home form wasnt really in doubt but hopefully acts as a confidence booster for away meets. Worrall and Masters flying with Sedgy close behind. Cook and Fricke wee bit of an off night but involved in some great races.

Back to the top of the table and Smugness almost returned lets see what happens on Sunday.

Thought Allen would have done wee bit better and its always good to see Morris on form must be one of the best visitors to the Dale.

I worked out that his average is around the 9.45 mark.
