BWitcher
Pardon?! Why would any media -national, local or otherwise - be interested in some sort of supposed conspiracy theory, voiced on a minor sport's fan forum? There is no 'controversy' amongst the clubs or riders. There has been no disagreement in the speedway press, other than probably a couple of reader letters. In fact, the vast majority of speedway fans, especially those that still actually attend meetings on a regular basis, have no interest, knowledge nor opinion on the matter as long as there are still usually 7 riders against 7 riders at every meeting. By all means write to the BSPA/SCB/ACU offices and/or every individual club and ask for an explanation or clarification and see what replies you get............ Vast majority of speedway fans that 'still' attend. Still being the operative word.
SteveLyric2
So Poole have a meeting tonight, perfect opportunity for someone to ask Ford or Middlo the answer? We have them at Lynn tomorrow, I get that chance then, Buster too :-) What have Ford or Middlo got to answer? That the August list was issued and they signed a rider that they were entitled to!!! Any questions need to be asked of the BSPA or the Fast Track Co-ordinator!!

Starman2006
I never bothered ..... Time will tell whether Benji's years of experience gain Poole a few points through their manipulation of the rules. And thats the standard reply. Can't be arsed nether bothered. No because the doubt in your mind tells you you would walk away with a red face of embarisment. Tell me, what was the crowd like V Poole at KL? I'll tell you, probably there best of the season, what does that tell you?

Again, why don't you approach Matt like Tree's was going to do except he couldn't be arsed nor bothered and he knows why, and tell him to his face your a cheat. Hm , i wait for the standard reply. And behold it came to be. Suprise suprise. Trouble is , speedway tries these things with the best intentions , but invariably makes a pigs ear of it . We had a similar thing in the PL in 2006 where reserves were graded A , B and C and were supposed to be at reserve all season . Halfway through the season the governing body decided Steve Boxall and Jon Armstrong , might have been one or two more , were now too good to be at reserve so the thing was thrown into turmoil . spin king
Speedway fans told to rise up and bring revolution against the Promoters of Speedway. Lets boycott of meetings that Poole ride in. Some revolution out of 26 present speedway clubs, only 8 would be involved in the boycott. Now that is some revolution.

Why boycott meetings involving Poole, surely not over the signing of Benji Compton, no disrespect to the kid but its Benji Compton, who, with the best will in the World is hardly ever likely to be much better than he is right now.

It's nothing really to do with Benji Compton , everyone knows he wont score much more than the other Fast Track sacrificial lambs Poole have used so far . It's the belief that Poole have pulled some sort of stroke that has got the usual suspects jumping up and down . Yes Poole have , on occasion , bent the rules a bit . But one misdemeanor involving the lesser Compton should really register much on the injustice seismic level .

To be honest I was having a dig at the original poster. Do the supporters of Premier League and the vast majority of National League teams really give a rats arse about who the Draft pick riders are at Poole. I think there are far bigger issues in the Elite League other than how many times Poole have changed their draft pick rider.
