Preview Swedish Elitserien 2014, Round 13

Televised meeting: Rospiggarna - Piraterna live at Eurosport 2, 18.00 BST / 19.00 CEST

Race card: https://www.mediafire.com/?z3ztgc4748cjiur

Live scores; http://www.svemo.se/Speedway

Current standings: http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Elitserien2014/Serietabell/

Rospiggarna - Piraterna

Rospiggarna (45)

  1. Andreas Jonsson
  2. Grzegorz Walasek Maciej Janowski
  3. Kim Nilsson
  4. Timo Lahti
  5. Mads Korneliussen
  6. Chris Harris
  7. Jonas Davidsson

Piraterna (45)

  1. Bjarne Pedersen
  2. Chris Holder
  3. Darcy Ward
  4. Linus Sundström
  5. Greg Hancock (K)
  6. Simon Gustafsson
  7. Fredrik Engman

This is the fight for second place which Rospiggarna currently holds with a 2p margin. For Ropiggarna it is uncertain if they will use R/R for Walasek

or if they will be able get a replacement into the squad in time for the meeting. Last week Rospiggarna lost their third meeting

for the season. They are usually strong at home and have only lost one meeting at home (against Dackarna) but the track was a bit

different then it usually is due to some rain earlier in the evening.

For Piraterna, Matej Zagar is listed in the offcial line up but this is because a replacement for an injured rider stays in the team for

a minimum of 28 days. Those 28 days have passed tomorrow so that means that Chris Holder will re-take hos position in the team from tomorrow.

Vargarna - Västervik

Vargarna (42)

  1. Jason Doyle
  2. Peter Kildemand R/R
  3. Adrian Miedzinski
  4. Pontus Aspgren
  5. Martin Vaculik
  6. Billy Forsberg
  7. Ricky Kling

Västervik (48)

  1. Przemyslaw Pawlicki
  2. Krzysztof Kasprzak
  3. Peter Ljung
  4. Hans Andersen
  5. Tobiasz Musielak
  6. Mathias Thörnblom
  7. Ludvig Lindgren

Vargarna are in a fierce battle with Smederna and also Dackarna for the last place in the play offs.

Vargarna are currently outside the play offs after they lost last week while Smederna won.

Reports says that they have to manage without Peter Kildemand in this meeting since had a crash in Poland earlier tonight

which resulted in a concussion. They will use R/R for him.

Vargarna needs to win to stay in the fight for the play offs and If they also manages to win the aggregated bonus point,

they are more or less certain to be in the play offs if Smederna fails to take any team points against Indianerna.

Västervik will finish last and will be demoted to Allsvenskan for 2015, it remains to see how motivated they are.

Dackarna - Elit Vetlanda

Dackarna (26)

  1. Nicki Pedersen
  2. Joonas Kylmäkorpi
  3. Michael Jepsen Jensen
  4. Alexandr Loktaev R/R
  5. Krzysztof Buczkowski
  6. Dennis Andersson
  7. Robin Aspegren Victor Palovaara

Elit Vetlanda (64)

  1. Tai Woffinden
  2. Emil Sajfutdinov
  3. Jarek Hampel
  4. Tomas H Jonasson
  5. Janusz Kolodziej
  6. Magnus Karlsson
  7. Jacob Thorssell

Dackarna misses the suspended Patryk Dudek and they also suffered in injury in today's Division 1 meeting at G&B arena between

Målilla Team Finland Texoil Racers Masarna, Robin Aspegren broke his collarbone. He will get a decision tomorrow whether or not his injury requires surgery.

Dackarna are also involved in the the play off fight and they this round faces "Real Vetlanda" Which brings their strongest possible lineup.

I think Vetlanda will be able to defeat Dackarna and then also win the aggregated bonus. If Dackarna loses, if Smederna manages at least

to win the aggregated bonus and if Vargarna manages at least a win, Dackarna will find themselves being outside play offs.

Then they have Rospiggarna in the final round, a very tough opponent as well.

Indianerna - Ikaros Smederna

Indianerna (40)

  1. Fredrik Lindgren
  2. Cameron Woodward
  3. Piotr Protasiewicz
  4. Mikael Max
  5. Niels-Kristian Iversen
  6. Antonio Lindbäck
  7. Joel Andersson

Ikaros Smederna (50)

  1. Grzegorz Zengota
  2. Kenni Larsen R/R
  3. Peter Karlsson
  4. Oliver Berntzon
  5. Pawel Przedpelski Mikkel Michelsen
  6. Magnus Zetterström
  7. Mikkel Michelsen Davey Watt

Indinanerna are fielding their strongest possible line up and they have showed that they are a very very hard team to beat at their home track.

Smederna have problems with injuries this season, just like last year. For tomorrows meeting Kenni seems to be back but his form seems

to have gone down the drain since he qualified for the European Championships. Perhaps a bit too many meetings without the proper organization that is

needed to ride in Sweden, DK, Poland+ SEC. I still haven't heard any official news about Laguta so I think that he won't be available until

the play offs if Smederna manages to reach it.

It will be very interesting to see how Pawel Przedpelski will handles the Sannahed track. A track where there usually is several racing lines and

where it usually is possible to do Gollobish blasts on the outside along the fence and that is something Przedpelski seems to like to do.

Anyhow we can look forward to an exciting finish to this seasons Elitserien.

Everyone eligible for a ride ?

Yes that is right. Przedpelski is the only one with a higher floating average so all riders should be able to take a R/R heat.

I also haven't seen any info on replacement for Robin Aspegren in Dackarna but I guess that it will be Alexander Edberg.

Pawel Przedpelski will not be allowed to ride for Smederna tomorrow since Torun have decided that he should ride in a Polish U21 meeting.

He will be replaced by Davey Watt.

All of Vargarna's riders can take Kildemand's heats.

Thank you. I'm just getting into Swedish speedway now its on Eurosport and I'm getting my head around these rolling averages (one week number 1 the next week number 7 Mr Watt!!)

Also last week I saw Daniel Davidsson was listed for Vargarna and they had r/r for him. Is he still out injured? And does that mean he can still be listed in the official lineup instead of say Billy Forsberg and you can have r/r for him if that's the way the team managers prefer to go?

Daniel Davidsson had a short practice section last week but didn't feel fit enough to ride so they uses R/R for him.

Yes as long as Daniel Davidsson have a rolling/floating (or whatever you want to call it) that is one of the five highest

they can use R/R for him instead of using Billy Forsberg. Obviously this week they want to use R/R for Kildemand

which means that they can't use R/R for Davidsson as well.

I think the plan last week was that Davidsson would ride but when he felt that he wasn't fit they decided to use R/R. Perhaps Billy wasn't available.

As for Watt, it's not that strange. The team manager can put the five best riders in any order he desires at positions 1-5 and

for Smederna several of the riders' rolling averages are very close which means that there might be changes regarding

which riders that rides at reserve from one week to another.

Dackarna just announced that they will use R/R for Loktaev. Unofficial reports says that it has to do with back problems.

Got to say, not a fan of Darcy but his team riding skills are above any other rider out there in this modern era. Keeping an old art alive.

Very unselfish riding to nurse home an obviously slower Sundstrom.

Heavy rain in Målilla apparently.

It's also still raining in Norrköping.

Rain in Hallstavik too.

Hey Chris Harris made another pass. That makes it 2.5 passes tonight for him.

Chris Holder won't ride more tonight. Left shoulder injury. He is in lots of pains according to Piraternas team manager Stefan Andersson
