lucifer sam
How many did Rye get at Somerset the other week? Shads ain't a glory supporter, though. rustyre bel1
not a lot said about Ollie he was right on it again, I for one must eat humble pie as I thought it was a bad signing. Rider of the year so far ?
Shadders
How many did Rye get at Somerset the other week? Been to see us there three times this year. Scored 28, 26 & 20. If we were there again this year I'd still go Edited August 14, 2014 by Shadders

Whereas some of the Monarchs fans seem to have disappeared back under their rock. All the best Rob And so do I - ever since the Old Meadowbank & Coatbridge days. Hell I even changed jobs to move to London when they sold the licence to Wembley in 1970!! Can't say I've noticed anyone disappearing. Najjer
While it was a great ride by Kurtz the two Monarchs made the job easier for him by keeping down low on the last lap. To a certain extent, but previously Fricke had passed Morris on the inside, and then vice versa... Just to prove what an excellent race track Somerset is. Wonder if Allen will get the rigged bike comments that Cookie got? He looked fast as ****, some really good starts as well. Is that bitterness at the way he blitzed Craig Cook whilst on a tactical? He has been absolutely stunning at home this year.
Nutz
The wheels on the Moanarchs bus go round and round, round and round, round and round..... then they come off. Whereas the wheels on the Rye House bus are still to be inflated? Better team won simples. Few riders had an off night. Just shows how much we relied on Steve when he was at reserve. Sneddon once again terrible. For "Few", read "Most". Sedge excepted who had a pretty decent return. Derek won't ride harder for no reward this season. Going to Somerset tonight with a 5 man team was all ready going to be a difficult task but when they don't all perform we were always going to get pumped. Our problems lie at reserve got no problem with Aaron doing as expected in his first season in the PL but Sneddon is a whole different ball game experienced PL rider who should be scoring around 5 a meeting as a second string he can't even score 3 as a Reserve!!!!!!!! Until we get rid of Sneddon we aren't going to win anything come business end of the season. With Sneddon in the team we will lose over 2 legs against Somerset and Peterborough with ease. No, our problem last night, didn't lie at reserve. Just got to accept we were defeated by the better team... The same team who have averaged a scoreline of 61-31 at home in the league and we were also the joint second highest scoring visitors to OTA in the league this season! Unless trouble besets the Rebels at home, no-one will come away with too much more this season. Our top 5 (Sedge excepted) were found wanting last night and were a combination of trying too hard, having a rare off night or guilty of riding too close to the kerb. Some are on a witch hunt for the skipper to be removed but it's unfair to lay the blame for last night at his door. If you take of your i hate Crag Cook specs for a second and use your brain you will see that we were heavily out scored at reserve last night and heavily out scored at reserve again tonight. Sneddon has failed to beat a opposing rider in his last two matches says it all really. Disagree with that... Yes we were outscored at reserve but that isn't where we lost the meeting by so much last night. Somerset's top 5 were on fire last night whereas ours simply weren't. It's easy to point the finger at Derek but he rode his knackers off last night for no reward whatsoever. Whereas some of the Monarchs fans seem to have disappeared back under their rock. All the best Rob Which is exactly where you should be ya troll... Where are Oxford? Is that bitterness at the way he blitzed Craig Cook whilst on a tactical? He has been absolutely stunning at home this year. Allen is riding the best I've ever seen him... Cookie lifted at the start on his tactical and you can't give someone of Allen's calibre that much of a head start... Easily the best rider on show last night. Would like to say congratulations to the Rebels. Better team won, simples. Kurtz's Ht15 was worth the admission money alone but to add to that the swapping of places early race between Max & Morris was also added into the mix... Well done for putting us to the sword and again you'll be up there at the business end of the season. Shadders
Whereas the wheels on the Rye House bus are still to be inflated? We've known we were gonna struggle from day one, so it's no surprise we're rubbish. This is about the Moanarchs losing their way, nothing to do with Rye House.
Nutz
We've lost our way? 4 defeats in the season and we're at mid-August... We've been beaten at Berwick twice, Peterborough and Somerset... 3 of the 4 tracks who rarely drop points at home... Every team will go through a dip during the season... I'd rather ours be now than at the business end of the season.
EnglishRoundabout
Olly seems to have Sussex out the quickest way around the OTA. Moreover, he is ruthless where it matters going into the first turn. Once in front, he rarely looks behind and is rarely ever passed. Much has been said about Brady Kurtz's stunning and courageous ride in heat 15, but Paul Starke pulled off two superb passes too during the match. Both of which were on his numer two machine. Number one bike was blown up at the starting gate in heat two. Sedgmen made a decent fist of it, as did Fricke. I actually thought Masters looked quick but he too often got caught up in 'traffic', especially thwarted by his own team mates. Still, he did save himself a hefty fine from Ronnie Allen, as the gestures he made to the refs box after his exclusion for tape touching in heat 9, were deemed not to be abusive or indeed ungentlemeny! Decent crowd last night especially with threatening clouds circling overhead throughout the meeting. Spare a thought to a handful of Monarchs fans who made it down to Somerset. In the previous few days they had visited Glasgow, Newcastle, Bellevue, and Cradley and watched only one race due to the weather. At least they took in some racing last night! They were at Wolves on Monday for starters, and I was there despite us finishing a distant fourth. And I posted on the forum afterwards – I didn’t go into hiding. As for the “troll” comment, well now the Monarchs fans have lost their smugness, is this what comes next, the insults? All the best Rob I think you'll find, I've never posted any smug comments and generally post on topics of matches regarding my own team and at matches I was in attendance at. I don't go onto other teams' topics to gloat... This is what I perceive a troll to do - so I guess it's not even an insult, more an observation. It's only when it crosses the line that it becomes unwelcome .
