Willowman
That was a very enjoyable evening with some great racing. Somerset supporters were really pumped after this one and it will have done the team the world of good. For the Monarchs I was impressed by Justin who seems to have recovered from his lows of 2012. Also Max seems to have a liking for the OTA and rode very cleverly to secure his points. Tonight though the Monarchs were let down by Craig who had just one of those nights but I thought Sam was quite poor considering how well he used to ride the track and looked almost desperate on occassions. Although there was passing galore tonight, a special mention for heat 3 where although there was no passing it was equally good. Pontus had to cover Steve's moves while at the same time trying to make a move on Max himself. So it just goes to show that you really can still have a good meeting without any passing as long as the riders are close and making attempted passes. Looking forward to the weekends fixtures. Just hoping we can bag a few more points on our travels and entertain the home side supporters. Please, please boys, no Ipswich!

Monarchlad
Why bother when people can't be objective.......some are paranoid about Edinburgh riders
scotchopper
Well done somerset, on fire just now. The video of Kurtz was fantastic Only positive from a monarchs perspective is that it is better to have the blip in form now rather than at the business end of the season. We'll be back. Blacksmith
It's the most likely scenario, no doubt about it! I think Berwick will come to Armadale next Friday, and take at least a point

Bigeddiechek tells it as it is, they are too good not to take at least a point.I think they let us through in the KO Cup so they could concentrate on the league

TheScotsman
Well done Somerset. Hoped for a better Monarchs performance but didn't expect one given our weakness at reserve. Somerset are a steamroller at home and we seem to have had some bike issues to go with a couple of injuries. Crazy schedule that we are on at the moment but hey ho it's on to Sheffo we go. TheScotsman
Better wait till Berwick go to Somerset - Kus will be out of reserve then!
screm
Better wait till Berwick go to Somerset - Kus will be out of reserve then! Very true, but in the current averages it will mean Steen Jensen will drop to reserve, and he is scoring decent points in the main body of the team. There is no reason why he cant score just as well at reserve.
Gazc
A compete humping, as Somerset go top of the table and the once unbeatable Monarchs now look a sorry lot. TWO!!!!! All the best Rob The Invincibile's have now become the Invisible's they have all went missing notice the smugness has been replaced with excuses now there's a surprise not.

Robinh88
Great stuff, I don't think Edinburgh have gone backwards they just dont have Sedgman and Worrall at reserve anymore. Fox and Sneedon will probably score decent points at home but against Somerset I can see them coming un stuck over two legs Fair credit to Edinburgh they have had a brilliant season so far with a team that didn't stand out at me pre season. Edinburgh and Somerset are the best two teams in the league as far as I can see at the moment
Chris Hutcheson
We were/are of form, but even the heats we won were FTG. I think Kurtz' amazing heat 15 is blocking peoples memories from a poor meeting. Deek has been poor but who could you bring in to replace him? We are stuck and have to hope he turns it round. Wonder if Allen will get the rigged bike comments that Cookie got? He looked fast as ****, some really good starts as well. Bagpuss
While it was a great ride by Kurtz the two Monarchs made the job easier for him by keeping down low on the last lap.
