racers and royals
I agree it is wrong (since he is suspended) but technically if it is a meeting that is held independently from FIM/PZM, there is nothing that can stop Dudek from riding. Basically this is Adam Skornicki renting/borrowing a track and invites a few friends to come and ride just for fun in this private event. It is the same situation as the Swedish "Folk speedway", they're are an independent organisation that is not affiliated with Svemo or FIM. This means that anyone (including you and me) can get ourselves a bike and turn up and ride with no license or anything like that required. I've tried speedway once in at a sponsors event, riding on 250cc biked at the 80cc track at Smedstadion. I have also driven a Volvo 940 rally car (on a enclosed, figure 8 track) without having neither drivers license or a rally license. There is a difference between punters paying to get in to watch and "amateur events"
f-s-p
Very interested to hear about licenses/insurances with these 'independed' meetings... doesn't sound very 'covered'. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to see Dudek back on track on sunday This has disaster written all over it. If you are licensed by any FMN under FIM, you dont do "wild" meetings. No insurance for starters, the list is long...
The White Knight
For some Bizarre reason Dudek is allowed to ride in Sunday`s Adam Skornicki testimonial in Leszno on Sunday-apparently because it`s not an "official meeting" No difference to Luis Suarez playing for F C Barcalona in friendly Matches whilst he is banned. f-s-p
Am I correct to say that the said meeting is now on and Dudek is not riding?
severnsider
He hadn't been listed in results so assume not riding
THE DEAN MACHINE
There were some demo races with new engines being tested ,did he ride in those?
DutchGrasstrack
Just got back in NL and Dudek wasn't there. The new jawa bikes were tested by old riders, including Sam Ermelenko.
racers and royals
According to Polish media reports-after Dudek has completed 6 months of the 1 year suspension( started 8th August) he can ask for the ban to be shortened. Speculation is that he could be back on track on the 8th May
racers and royals
Dudek could be in further trouble by training with Zielona Gora last week-that could be a breaking of the terms of the ban. Dudek and Zielona Gora are awaiting a decision.

Dudek and Zielona Gora are awaiting a decision. I had to laugh the first I heard of this, how can he be so stupid. But the fact is, that the Polish clubs have a pretty strong nut-hold on their riders so maybe some official in the club told him to do it... Ghostwalker
Dudek could be in further trouble by training with Zielona Gora last week-that could be a breaking of the terms of the ban. Dudek and Zielona Gora are awaiting a decision. It was decided yesterday that he will not receive further bans or etc from PZM for this, however they have to inform WADA of the decision and WADA have the possibility to appeal the decision to CAS (imo they didn't appeal Wards lenient sentence so I doubt that they will appeal this). http://translate.google.com/translate?depth=1&hl=en&ie=UTF8&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&tl=en&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/531161/umorzono-postepowanie-w-sprawie-patryka-dudka http://translate.google.com/translate?depth=1&hl=en&ie=UTF8&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&tl=en&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/531174/komisja-do-zwalczania-dopingu-w-sporcie-zaakceptuje-werdykt-gksz http://translate.google.com/translate?depth=1&hl=en&ie=UTF8&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&tl=en&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/531345/komisja-antydopingowa-chce-wyjasnien-pzm-bedzie-odwolanie
f-s-p
imo they didn't appeal Wards lenient sentence so I doubt that they will appeal this 10 months for alcohol is in the boundaries of your Basic "off-the-shelf" punishments in WADA books. EVEN when we know it's 2 years for the first doping offence you make. They gave a year for a motorcycle rider here in Finland a couple of years ago and SML had to explain to the Finnish WADA/ADT why they were so hard on him.
