Lord Lucan
Any chance we can bring this match forward to our normal racenight, Remnant Hurricane Bertha will win this judging by that forecast? Just out of interest, why are we racing on Sunday exactly, cant see any problems with other clubs/meetings, just appears to be a waste of another lovely Saturday night? comet49
Can't be there tomorrow and couldn't have been there tonight either. I' d think all the doubling up, riders injured when riding for other teams along with some results are putting people off plus of course different nights and no continuation. Just hope they win. S/way needs shook up from top to bottom.

Been rubbish this season, once the PL had agreed to playing second fiddle to the EL we were always going to be on the back foot, then adjusting the fixture list to accomodate doubling up riders brought the continuity into the debate as we had picked so many of them in this years team? Throw in bad weather/bad result here and there and it shouldn't really be that much of a surprise that there is so little interest!!  I would be surprised tho if this match goes ahead anyway judging by the forecast but, you never know..... cant see it mind?
jenga
i think the meeting on sunday is because knickerless klink is unavailable for the scorps. i am only going to this meeting bacause i have a posponed ticket from the medicgate meeting. .. why do we bow down to other teams . can only see a scorps win as we have lost the plot in the art of speedway racing. going to spend more time going to motocross meeting as from sunday where i know i will be entertained and feel as though i have had VALUE for money. SPEEDWAY IS KILLING ITSELF. double uppers etc,

Good night for speedway tonight just wasted again, this lack of flexibility is costing speedway in Workington big style it either comes to an end and the club becomes the "bigger" person or riders dictating when and where they will ride kills us off? Lord Lucan
Weather forecast for the north of the country is pretty horrendous for tomorrow as well  Exactly, and known about for several days in advance , thats why I quoted the lack of flexibility, a guest for Scunny, move this forward 24hrs and the meeting is being run with me watching not sitting here doing my keyboard jockey impression, farcical!! We have to do better than this as it's doing no one any favours least of all Workington Speedway, season supposed to end Sept 12th, we have 14 matches to fit in in about 5wks then worry about play off dates? montie
Why would Scunny have need a guest for Klindt if we had rode tonight? he had signed for us before Leicester so as far as im aware he would have been at Worky
Lord Lucan
Why would Scunny have need a guest for Klindt if we had rode tonight? he had signed for us before Leicester so as far as im aware he would have been at Worky  That's gossip for you Montie!! This is the problem tho, no information from anywhere as to "why" we were racing on Sunday in the first place and with the lousy forecast for said day, why we could not revert back to the better day of Saturday and get the fixture completed instead of hoping the rain stays away? It's all very well using advance forecasts to get a meeting called off to avoid travelling so why not apply the same logic and use it to get a meeting on!! Was clear to everyone that Saturday was a good day weather wise, and it was, but no swap, day wasted and now the potential of another rain off to contend with?  Personally not aware of Klindt's registration til you piped up the info, thank's for that, better late than never so clearly that wasn't the issue!! Dont understand this at all, been a month now since we last saw any speedway up here yet we seem to be paying lip service to actually doing anything to get racing again, is it any wonder people are not bothering anymore almost feels like the season has finished already?
