Mr Blobby
Back league racing this wee after an entertaining Scottish open last week. We welcome back the Newcastle diamonds this week spearheaded by Danny King. Edinburgh should be at full strength as long as Max Fricke comes through his danish meeting tonight no idea about the diamonds. Edinburgh to take all 3 points. Teams for Friday: Edinburgh Craig Cook Justin Sedgmen Max Fricke Stevie Worrall Sam Masters Aaron Fox Derek Sneddon Newcastle Danny King Lewis Kerr Stuart Robson Lewis Rose Ludvig Lindgren Simon Nielsen Chris Mills Edited August 7, 2014 by Mr Blobby

StevePark
The only doubt the Diamonds would have, I would guess, is Lewi K. He rode in the Fours on Sunday, but has missed a King's Lynn EL meeting this week.

dantodan
A fit Kerrminator could make the difference but really the Monarchs are such a talented side. Newcastle are underachievers on their travels, they will come good somewhere, I feel and the lads are capable of scoring well anywhere, but I think the Monarchs will be too good for the Diamonds this season. Fenway Bleachers
Think the reserves give the home team an advantage, though Robbo is always great entertainment at the dale. Cookie vs King should be interesting......assuming Sedgy doesn`t beat both...
Justgotmecpc
aye a reckon we can push the monarchs hard.. if ludvig can get his set up spot on from the start we could come away with a point but if deek is on song at reserve it'll be 50 40 home win

Paulco
Nothing worse when that happens , but it's never a decision taken lightly in these circumstances
DavyH
Indeed Paulco, heavy rain started at 7pm, started to clear, they were hoping to start a bit later but then the monsoon arrived at 7.30pm. I'll take the blame for this, washed my car today
Mr Blobby
was in the stadium around 6.00 - 6.15 the track was perfect and the ground was dry, then around 6.45 these big dark clouds appeared and the heavens open not long after the track was still in good condition till around 7.15 when the rain got heavier and by that point the track was gone past attempting to fix IMO.
