Ipswich V Rye House. Pl2. 7-8-14 @ 7-30pm

Don't blame you, hopefully there will be a monsoon over Ipswich this afternoon.

Foxhall is renowned for having its own micro climate being at least 20'c colder inside the stadium than the carpark but I don't think a monsoon is on the cards.

Where did the Marc Owen guests for Mellgren come from? I can't find anything anywhere, probably not looking in the right place.

Shame no Mellgren, he usually goes well around our place. But at least it saves Uncle Len a few quid. Should us fans be short changed because another team wants to employ a Swede who cant ride on a Thursday? There isn't enough riders to go around, maybe a facility should be allowed in certain cases. As an Ipswich fan I'd rather see competitive action, not some junior struggling around at the back.

Missing this one - sampling the delights of Warwick Castle today instead.

Now no Melgren so this one should be a foregone conclusion.

Witches to hit 60.

Gonna go but i'm not sure why. Sick of the ridiculous RR/NL Guests we have had to put up with again this season at rye, NL guests in place of supposed PL Heat leaders no wonder the sport is in a state.

Not only that but i reckon there are a fair few supporters of both clubs who should be sick of the sight of each other. Don't care who we lose to but so many meetings involving these two sides, The PL is getting as bad and boring as the EL.

Still i suppose i'll go home happy if we hit the big 30

Same as WHB, I'm going, but don't know why. Anders riding for his Swedish side tonight. Apparently the Swedish speedway authorities insist he has to prioritise his home country.

Will probably be missing Redcar away too.

It'll be an absolute slaughter tonight. Ipswich will hit 60 with ease against a depleted, demoralised Rockets side. Interestingly nothing about the team changes on either the Rye House Website or Twitter.

Says it all really as if our team isn't poor enough without the loss of Anders we have to find out from a forum that quotes the Ipswich website. would have been bloody annoyed had i travelled without knowing,

Goes with the territory at Rye these days

I had to Tweet Anders myself to have it confirmed. It's really not good enough for a professional sports team in the 21st century

Credit to shadders and his fellow supporters for turning up and watching this. Wasn't one of the reasons for getting rid of matt his missing of meetings? I remember some fans voicing their opinions on a rider missing meetings due to other commitments, let's hope you don't have to many more Thursday meetings.

This meeting really is now going to be totally one sided. Just hoping Kennett and the Jasons can put on a good show.

Only other clash I can see is Redcar away. Tres was missing every other weekend. Edited by Shadders

Which is fair enough as he is Swedish and riding in his home country. Wouldn't you be offended if Kennett wasn't at a meeting as was riding "abroad"? No different to what Mellgren's Swedish team would think. I'd certainly be peeved if Worrall missed a weekend match for the Witches to ride in Poland. But would depend if this fixture was rearranged or not though.

Think most are assuming that the Witches will win at a canter, all i'm hoping for is a meeting like last week, But would do well to beat it!

I don't recall saying it was unfair or unjust. You must be thinking of someone else. It's not as if this in an important fixture for us. Wooden spoon looks nailed on
