sidewinder
home win with a good bit to spare Sorry but I think you are dreaming there. It should be close and either team could sneak it, but the bears will not win with room to spare. Too many bandits, who go well around Redcar. marron
I think any sort of win for the Bears tonight would be a good result as a lot of those Bandits go well around the STMP consistently (not many don't!). The Bears need the Jorgensen of a couple of weeks back to go well and Graversen HAS to fire to have any chance of winning.
mrmiddlesbrough
I hate commenting on anything bears related these days as I'm with simmo, crap promotion crap rules, it's all just Mickey Mouse. Hard to bare really after putting so many years into following speedway that you club and the sport end up being such a joke. Bring back fortress Cleveland park

screm
I doubt even Berwick could come up with enough excuses should they go on and loose this meeting tonight, though I don't understand how Redcar are getting away with using a guest, even if that guest is Theo Pjyper, when quite clearly the Swindon V Lakeside meeting is an a re-arranged fixture. Swindon v Lakeside tonight isn't a re-arranged meeting, therefore Lawson has to ride for Lakeside and facility available. On Bank Holiday Monday Swindon v Lakeside IS the re-arranged meeting and Lawson has stated he will be riding for Redcar at Scunthorpe. The White Knight
So why is Adam Ellis riding for Ipswich tonight and not Lakeside, also Kim Nillsson is riding in Sweden rather than at Swindon. According to a Post elsewhere - he has the Management's permission to do so.
northyorksbear
So why is Adam Ellis riding for Ipswich tonight and not Lakeside, also Kim Nillsson is riding in Sweden rather than at Swindon. Apparently Ellis asked to be released to ride for Ipswich and this this was agreed by Lakeside, Nilsson I assume would have told Lakeside he had to ride in Sweden prior to agreeing deal - it seems Sweden always takes priority (note Mellgren is missing for Rye tonight) -on what basis Newman is guesting I know not why! Ned Kelly 41
Sounds like a fiddle to me. If Lawson's off chasing EL gold in a rearranged fixture, his replacement should be a National Leaguer, not Glasgow's in-form captain. But Redcar have it in them (with Lawson or Pijper) to win -- their last three weeks' home wins over Newcastle, Scunthorpe and Workington show they are the form team here, now, on this track. Berwick could only manage 20-odd at Edinburgh a couple of weeks ago, why should people expect them to roll the Bears over?

If anything the "fiddle" is Lakeside releasing Ellis and then using Paul Starke - if he is likely to outscore what Ellis would have got! Re rest of your post I think it will be a tight meeting and probably depends more on how the Bears (especially Lemon, Gravesen & Pijper) perform
Robinh88
because Berwick won by 14 with Lawson in the side I would imagine Edberg will add 2 points or so more than Carr Edited August 7, 2014 by BeastfromtheEast
