Leicester V Wolverhampton 9 Aug

Easily obtained.

The polish teams will insist their riders are there for practice. I'm quite sure we were fully aware of that fact when we signed him.

No problems at all with clubs signing riders who on occasions have to miss a match due to being forced to ride elsewhere but they should only be replaced by a 6 point BPL rider and not by a BEL rider of similar ability.

i can't believe you're having a pop at the only plus in the team this year... like BWitcher has said, we know the rules regarding Poles...

it's been stated on here he's missed 3 matches for you... if he was at Swindon and missed the 3 matches all year then i'd have been well chuffed.. massive talent and will be a top dog before long.

...but not on Saturdays!!!

I hope this is not a case of Wolves cheating??!

Yep only a 6 pt PL rider should have been used, let's hope the BSPA change the rules next year for Danes and Poles so none of these underhand tactics are used and the British public get to see teams of full strength all the time/that they pay to see! The riders themselves have their hands tied :-(

Isn't it really a case of Wolves being happy to accept that he was sick because a sick note has been produced. Who knows but maybe that it was Wolves themselves knowing they were in a spot of bother who instigated the outcome. In any case the BSPA in their unbiased wisdom must have been happy to sanction the use of a guest. I think it is about time that the BSPA have a serious think about such situations.

I thought cvs had a doctors note for him ?

Clearly it was a fake, just like many of the `sick notes` produced as an excuse for Poles.

Has already proved this year he IS top dog at Wolves on this years form alone.

All promoters are complicit in allowing cheating so it doesn't matter.

It still stinks however.

The BSPA allowed one team to gain an advantage over everyone else. I doubt they take that matter anymore serious in the slightest.

We don't know for sure do we, he may have had a 24 hour bug.. but highly unlikely.

The difference here is I haven't seen one single Wolves poster who has condoned it. Had it been Poole it would have been very different. That's why the Poole threads drag on, certain fans defending the indefensible.

It is the whole setup of the EL that should have been thought out better. When the Lions had to bring in 2 guest riders because 2 of thier riders had priority to ride for Sheffield in the PL. Surely the priority should go to the EL not the club of a lower league. It just makes no sense to me.

They may be assets of the PL but surely the EL should take priority of the riders on a race night not the lower club.

Not sure now how many meetings Stead and Bates have missed, due to this rule but it is quite a few.

It amazes me that PL gets priority over the EL and the NL. Numbers game I guess, when they vote at the AGM there more PL than EL or NL promoters to vote on the issue.

I think the only thing that is Elite about it is that is Bl**dy stupid. One of Billy Smarts chimps could do a better job of sorting things out than the bunch that sit on the BPSA.

They all need a bomb up the backside to sort them out. Hope they will find a better way to sort out the leagues for 2015, because this year has been a case of how to get things drastically wrong, from the starters gun.

He wasn't on saturday - it was Chris Harris!

Very true, but Harris has obviously more ability than any 6 point BPL rider even though he sometimes doesn't ride like it. At the time however, Wolves thought that he would give at least his average performance.

Perhaps rider replacement should be applied with any 2 riders above the missing rider's average and by 2 riders below, even if the latter are the 2 Fast Track Reserves.
