Gavan
Leave them alone mate, they are clearly embarised by there teams result. Tonight was probably the best meeting of the season so far with some very good racing, if your a poole fan, of course...Didn't somebody on here mention something along the lines of Poole will get a stuffing with those flakey poles!!!! oh dear, head bucket water springs to mind... the person who mentioned flaky poles was a Poole fan. Janowski rode well but as I've said is very inconsistent and next meeting could easily score 6. He is a total enigma whose career had stalled a bit. Was in the World Cup team and on verge of the gp's but missed out this year and has dropped down the order for a gp spot. The good news for Poole fans is if you meet Lynn in the final he flies round there track
Grachan
I can't believe people are complaining about the racing? Some terrific scraps and overtaking by Ward, Milik, Magic (what a heat 5 revelation!) and Josh in particular. Kildemand and North doing their best.. Plus a very large and appreciative crowd - lots of holidaymakers and many more than usual staying for the presentations at the end. Didn't see or hear (m)any Robins fans. Very surprised at the size of the scoreline but when your skipper has a mare and your guest doesn't perform you can't hope for much I guess! Rider of the Night - Maciej Janowski!! (Just in case people don't know him, he's one of the 'flaky Poles' and Poole's weak link!!) I don't think it's the racing that made it seem a poor meeting to us who watched on Bet365. It come over really badly on there. Long delays with no clue as to why. Couldn't hear the announcements. Badly placed camera. That's probably why. It certainly wasn't done any favours by the live streaming. I gave up even trying to watch once the interval came along.

Well, it could only happen at Poole... Give Bet365 customer services a ring, perhaps they could film from the centre of bends 1-2. The camera was in the corner of the pits, its the only decent vantage point, as Re-run film from the centre of the main grandstand. But then watching on a screen the size of a 10p piece nothings going to look good, not even at Swindon..
Pirate Baz
Serious Question... Did anyone think that an exciting meeting ? Yes. Some great entertainment and plenty of passing from Magic, Darcy, and the Pirates not forgetting Killer (why do the call him that ? ) anjd Dakota. Another Brummie on holiday soaking up the sun and some good racing this evening. Darcy, Magic and Milik were different grade plus the all action Kildemand. Pretty sure it should've been all four back in heat one and Magic was sublime in heat five, well, pretty sublime all night. Highlight was heat fifteen with Darcy slowing and paving the way (with a nice, there you go, hand gesture) for Magic to round off his fine tally. Of course it will do Darcy's average no harm finishing second . Swindon, North and Kildemand apart, were poor with Batch needing an attitude transplant after giving up when last. Chatted with a very nice Pirate about all sorts and took lots of condolences where my team are concerned. Do hope Shamek is ok too following the terrible looking incident with the backstraight air fence, thank God we have them. Despite all of the things that are said about Matt Ford and the shenanigans he may or may not pull, the guy clearly knows how to promote Speedway. I wish the Brummies promotion were of the same ilk on occasion. Anyhow, back to the Midlands soon without a team to follow. Well done Pirates. Objective report from a true neutral.
Starman2006
Serious Question... Did anyone think that an exciting meeting ? Yeh we did, but those watching on a screen the size of a 10p piece wouldn't have done. Very entertaining watching Rosco run round the pits like a headless horse, sorry i mean't chicken!! While Neil was nice and calm and sedate and let our riders do their jobs...A time and a place and all that.. Tom Turner
For me this was tarnished by Poole's cheating. Shame really.
stevebrum
For me this was tarnished by Poole's cheating. Shame really. All there results will from now on. I had such great admiration from them after a stunning performance on Monday that i believed showed there real intent. Now they have tainted any admiration into disdain. I am sure the usual few wont care a jot, which shows their real intentions about the rest of the clubs, fans and EL.

Check the updated FT replacement wording on the BSPA website, as of yesterday 6th August!!! NB. Good to hear that young Greaves has declared himself fit for Swindon's meeting tonight!! That was a nasty-looking accident, which clearly required the doctor's attention for longer than usual!!

stevebrum
Check the updated FT replacement wording on the BSPA website, as of yesterday 6th August!!! I have read it. And?? Was it changed to help Swindon earlier in the year ?? No How has Compton moved down the Draft list so quickly when his NL form has been good?? The rule has been changed to assist one club only. No doubt you are happy and you agree that this is perfectly fine. Back in the real world (outside Poole) most feel it is a despicable move by Phil Morris, BSPA and MF.

stevebrum
Do you practice at being miserable Steve, or does it just come Naturally?? Wake up. People are walking away from the sport because of this continual rule bending and breaking. Perhaps in you're Poole World everything is rosey. Nice attempt to deflect away from your from most recent rule bend. You must be so happy. Keep smiling - the rest are frowning at the likes of you.
Tom Turner
I am Poole born and bred. I have supported the Pirates ever since my parents introduced me to the sport just over 10 years ago and I have defended Matt for a lot of his actions, but this is inexcusable cheating and has thoroughly put a damper on the whole season for me. Gutting.

I'm sure Rosco wouldn't want him to drop further down the list as that would mean fewer options to replace him if needed but if he fails to trouble the scores then who knows?! Having said that the likes of Brendan Johnson and Ben Hopwood would be available...! Edited August 7, 2014 by Skidder1

Nice to see there is still a decent Poole supporter with a sense of decency, most on here are very unpleasant with their "Cocky attitude" one of the reasons that Poole are so hated by loads of speedway fans.

Had I have been Swindon's Promoter last night I would have turned up and then refused to ride. Unless a stand is made against this rule manipulations, nothing will ever change.
