krompa
If a Fast Track (FT) guest is needed then the Guest replacement will be selected from riders as follows: Riders with a grading of 24 or above may only be replaced by a rider with a lower grading Riders with a grading below 24 may be replaced by any Rider who has a grading below 24 regardless of the actual grade Does it mean Benji Compton is a guest tonight? (can only guest 3 more times if that is true) Surely he can't be permanent signing as is above Johnson in Fast Track Draft Grade List. http://www.speedwaygb.co/14issues/el14_issue23.pdf

The official press release confirms it. The rules don't allow it - yet the BSPA and Poole think it is OK. JOKE.

JOKE. I'm pretty sure it was just a mistake by BSPA as Johnson is still in declared 1-7. The only weird thing is that press release made by both Poole and BSPA saying they re-delared now. Can't be true. Must be a guest tonight only.
Gavan
why do you people seem suprised. year after year the cheats from the south coast do it time and again. year after year we have to listen to the blue tints say they have done nothing wrong year after year we are all tarred with anti poole - most pathetic response ever the promotion of the club are so corrupt. the manager has become a laughing stock Come on Lynn please win the league as a victory for Poole now will probably be the most tainted one ever

SteveLyric2
Don't shoot the messenger - I am only passing on the info provided on the Poole forum!!! As I said, several Poole fans were also questioning how it had been done?! Isn't the Fast track Co-ordinator Phil Morris? In which case he sometimes comes on this forum so maybe we can hope for a comment?! Not sure how it all works, other than he keeps a record of monthly scores/performances and presumably makes recommendations to the BSPA MC (not certain if he is a BSPA member himself?) If it turns out to be wrong well at least Compton can guest this week and next!! Edited August 6, 2014 by Skidder1

Crazy robin
Bloody hell Poole have got a great team anyway & only need a reserve to take 3 rides & still this is allowed to happen. Benji is a far superior rider than Brendan so now the FDR is worthless as well.

BritPete
I would think that just about every speedway fan outside of Poole, are now praying that Kings Lynn win the league. I am, that's for sure. . Edited August 6, 2014 by BritPete

Adder
It is little womder that fans are drifting away from the sport when certain teams are allowed to manipulate the rules to their advantage year after year and get away with it. Swindon should ride under protest tonight pending a full explanation from the BSPA MC.

Swindon should ride under protest tonight pending a full explanation from the BSPA MC. The problem is that Rosco is one of Matt and Middlos mates. So no chance. The same with Lakeside and Cook being a mate and Havvy at Coventry. Bought BV a few bricks a couple of years ago (in any other sport/business that would have been investigated as a bribe). You can see why they get away with it.

True, but since the departure of the mouth from the south, the anti-Poole vitriol had dried up to some extent, but it's full on again now, quite deservedly.

At least we don't have someone telling us how Matt is a step ahead of the rest once again and that nothing has been done wrong and we should move along because there is nothing to see!

Benji is a far superior rider than Brendan so now the FDR is worthless as well. Mate it was worthless the day it was dreamt up. The fact rules are being made up as they go along is absolutely ludicrous. Just makes me laugh how we had no options to replace Ritchings yet somehow someone has dropped 10 places in the list and can be fitted in elsewhere. You cant be telling me that riders 15-24ish in the list in May have improved that much. Because from what ive seen outside of the top 5/6 the rest are pure garbage and have no chance of making it at the top level. The worst rule ever in top league speedway continues to provide plenty of laughs. Edited August 6, 2014 by thecoombdog
Crazy robin
It would be nice to see a statement from Phil Morris to show his reasons for Benji dropping so far in the list but I really couldn't care less anymore. I always liked the bloke but he is obviously as corrupt as the rest & no co-incidence who he guest team managed for this season.
