Swindon V Lakeside 07/08/2014

Recommended Posts

Its just another example of the rules being ignored though. Either there is a rule that agrees prioritisation or there is not. We have a rule so it should be stuck to, no ifs, buts or maybes.

Shawn you know as well as anyone that the rules are just a rough guide, they are rarely followed with any consistency and the SCB

don't enforce anything other than riders tweeting.

I wonder if Lakeside are attempting to save money between now and the end of the season as I heard Douglas has moved with his

family to the USA.

I have watched Sky and Bet365 on and off and have only seen 2 reasonably good EL meetings - both from Belle Vue :t: think you should go or watch meetings from monmore green if you think only bell vue the racing is good? .......

Anyway, having not been to a meeting all season (first time in years), a friend who hasn't been either suggests going to the Lakeside meeting..

I tell him the teams and with a 'f*** that', we agree to meet in the pub when the football starts...

BTW... Congratulations to the forever cheating Pirates

Give them the title and let the rest go for the PO's.. :t:

A guest for Nathan may be an advantage tonight as the lad spends more time off the bike than on.

Another big meeting in play off battle. Think Swindon & Lakeside are going to not only need to win at home but also start picking up more away points.

Stuart has been based in Los Angeles for the last 3 years due to his work but works all round the world so has often been out of the country for long spells.

Awful performance at Poole, half baked Lakeside team, a poor surface again at Blunsdon maybe?

Think £17 plus petrol and programme is better saved.

Said it all year - why did Swindon swap then World Under 21 Champion Janowski for Jason Doyle who has had 2 good years on loan while several Robins flop?

Mad, mad, mad!

Edited, forgot £1.50 for the pothole car park at Shabbey Stadium!

And no more sign of a new stadium than we see in Reading.

I bet the poole bashers on here will try and make a case for us cheating to get Magic on board.. Surely not...

New Stadium, what new stadium?

Can i ask you why you've cancelled your home meeting tomorrow night??

I can't believe that people think that Lakeside is a team for the playoffs - they only have one recognised heat leader in Mr Watt - and we all know he blows hot and cold. If that team get into the playoffs then the EL has sunk lower than I thought!

Well, your bound to say that if your not included..

You're asking the wrong person. Go and read the meeting thread to see my thoughts! Not all of us blindly back our promotion and are capable of independent thought!

good win for Swindon although Troy still struggling.

Thats now Swindon and Lakeside that have dropped points away from home. think they will both have to start getting away points to be certain of the play offs, although Eastbourne still have a lot of away meetings to come.

Well done to young Grieves tonight...

Good to see Morra and Dak amongst the points and Killer too :t:

Who really cares if we make the PO's or not - at least Swindon have behaved with the utmost integrity (inc he Josh Bates scenario).

It is such a shame that one certain 'despicable' club is further driving fans away 'in their droves'..(see all the posts elsewhere).. :nono:

Good points from the young lad. And our Kyle at No 4 for Lakey.
