dantodan
Sunday 10th August will see Newcastle visit Glasgow at 1.30pm. Then the riders, officials and fans will motor down to Newcastle for the second leg at 7.30pm. Will I be there at both matches? I am thinking about it. Tsunami
home win :-) Last year Glasgow got a home win against us, after getting beat by almost everyone, both before and after our visit. I hope we win as we need to win it, but like you I am not confident.

StevePark
I still think it's madness doing both legs on the same day (always said it, even when we used to do it a few years ago). Â I did it once (not me driving, a certain ex-centre green announcer was!), when the Diamonds were at Ashfield and 'raced' back for a Gems meeting against Wimbledon and it wasn't really fun, if I'm honest. Â Just hope nothing happens during the first meeting, or on the journey down. I'll still be amazed if we start the second leg at 7.30pm even without hold-ups in the 1st leg. george.m
Before our new signing coming in at No1 I thought we were in with a chance over two legs. Unfortunately I think there is no chance now. If Viktor has been signed as a long term asset the short term pain we're going through proves to be worthwhile. dantodan
Are we sure the Kerrminator will miss the matches? I have decided not to travel up to Glasgow because of this. I think Glasgow will win the first leg and we will win the second at Brough. I will be happy to win the aggregate tie with a last heat decider. We pays our money and we hopes for top class entertainment! Glasgow's new guy is a dark horse he must have talent otherwise Glasgow would not have brought him in. Looking forward to Sunday I hope everyone is able to get back down to Brough

dantodan
kerr is riding all weekend Thanks Arson, Not likely to make a difference at Edinburgh but I think he will get plenty off points at Brough against Glagow
MD
Its another poor forecast for Sunday with 12 hours of rain predicted from 7am. Hopefully that changes when Sunday comes.

Edinburgh v Newcastle washed out last night. I dunno about Glasgow but if the two KO Cup matches fall victim to Hurricane Bertha or whatever is the met offices excuse for the coming wind and rain the Newcastle promotion face a fixture jam in August. Gaz
I very much doubt either match will be on but if it is I was going to make the trip up. We were going to leave about 9.30-10am so any weather updates prior to that would be much appreciated.

MD
Glasgow might just get away with running at 1.30 if the 2 mins is on rapid. If its the Dishcloth refereeing forget it, there'll be more reruns than the British final.
