Baldyman
Only 3 and half hours to start time, and nothing on here. I take it I've got the right day?
Blackadder
Somerset and Plymouth rained off.
Baldyman
Oh right, the only thing from Ipswich on Facebook was about tonight's meeting, no mention of rain off. Nice to see they are keeping the fans informed. Glad I didn't bother travelling.
Roland
Could be a good result then..............whens the cut-off? Many of the teams that may be able to sneak up on us are going to struggle to fit in all matches in hand? Or am I missing something here? Please advise. ColinMills
in the days of ringing up clubs to check weather, you would think todays world would be up dated instantly
spanner47
So that's two meetings at Plymouth and one at Somerset to sort out in the next few weeks. Will common sense prevail? I know with various other commitments It's difficult to sort out the perfect fixture list (in fact it must be impossible), but surely a double header at Plymouth would seem logical. I suppose as we're ahead with our fixtures, we go down the pecking order to get ours sorted, oh for an independent body to sort things out which is as fair as it can be to all, never gonna happen!! Deleting the 4 extra matches against two teams of your choice, from the fixture list would help, it was a stupid decision to increase the fixture list and took no account of the great British weather. Plenty of free dates are available its the cut off date which is forcing twice weekly running or planned double headers. This is surely a recipe for losing money. I suspect (said Suspect) others miss league matches because they are now qualifiers. Now we all know the play off crowds will be massive but they need to be for the 6 participants to recover some of the loss but what about the 7 who don't. When have they ever taken account of anything.
