I know I shouldn't have to ask this in summer, but is the weather alright?

Summer has been and gone. Where have you been?

It's still relatively dry in Birmingham!

Shame Coventry looks like it will rain later!

Planning to set off from Warwick in 30 mins, do you think it will be on? Raining here but not very heavy at the moment.

Good meeting tonight, shame Simon Lambert had to pull out towards the end. All the Storm lads contributed tonight.

Glad it was on and a good result for The Storm. I didn't risk it in the end as it was raining in Leicester when I was due to leave.

Worried when I got there, started to rain just as I parked the car, sat for a while and about 20 minutes later the Ice cream van pulled up and then drove away, sat there expecting the worse.

The rain stopped at about 6.55 and they opened the door at 7pm, track looked very wet and heavy. Started the meeting on the dot at 7.30pm, and then the fun began the weather had effected the track, turns 3&4 being very difficult but as usual these NL boys put there hearts and sole into and kept coming out.

We had a couple of track grades trying to sort out the top turns which helped, Coventry rode the track better than the Stoke team Payne and shuttleworth not getting to grips with it very well, it was quite an entertianing meeting but not for the right reasons, there were a couple of good racing, but most of the time it was the riders getting themselves out of trouble that caused the excitement.

Lambert locked up in heat 11 while he was chasing Sarjeant and thats what did his wrist.

Enjoyed that really got on with because of the weather.

Agree with your comments entirely PTP, all the lads gave their all and weren't afraid to mix it especially in the first few heats when the track was quite difficult to ride.

I think the scoreline flattered the Storm rather as it looked like it was going to be very close and losing Simon Lambert help Stoke. Enjoyable meeting though as most NL meetings are!
