Race Off 31/7

Recommended Posts

Where do you draw the limit (distance between fore most point of front wheel) between being in front and not being in front? 1cm? 10cm? 100cm?

in front means in front, he was about 3 quarters of a bike in front.. most sensible riders would have eased off the throttle.. poor refereeing and set it up for the aussies.... well done greg hancock. what a rider

Contentious decisions aside, an absolutely fabulous evening of racing. By far the best of the three meetings. Bydgoszcz is a great race track. Such a shame it has declined as a speedway loving venue. Saturday should be very special. Join you all then. Alan.

An unbelievable low crowd to witness a brilliant meeting. Probably the best race track in the world. And what was being said about circular tracks. The racing to-night was top drawer.

We should be able to learn from this , Everyone should learn from this. fantastic meeting..........

Why not just do away with the clearly unpopular race-off and go straight to the final after two qualifiers (two sides from each 'semi' qualify). Thus making the semi finals more cut throat. If the organisers are concerned about the home side not reaching the final, give them the 'easier' Semi...

JT.

Agree with that JT.. :t:

That would make everything all too simple though...

Swedes gave it a good go, but that awful decision knocked the stuffing out of them. Some cracking racing, amazing score from Herbie.

WILL be Jim Lawrence again ...

Be interested what your views on the Nilsson decision were?

Wait for it-Jim Lawrence.

Oh dear  .

Whatever you think of his decision tonight and, I think he got it wrong, he is gonna be wide open to accusations of bias. Would have been far better to have had a Swedish/Czech or any neutral referee.
