World Cup Final 2nd August 2014

Recommended Posts

Well done to Denmark. Close call and right down to the wire. Just shows that the stae of speedway in this country has never been so bad.

They would have been far better, just sitting back and watching, because they way they rode just showed that they where well off the pace tonight.

It just makes us look the third rate speedway country we have steadily fallen to over the past few years.

Lets hope that in the next few years we can see some young British lads come to the fore front of world speeday again and start winning out there.

I think one of the biggest problems being that British riders are failing to ride in the major races to give them that bit extra riding in top compertions.

We are now a long way from the glory days of British speedway. It was very disheartening to watch them.

Once again, the joker decides the outcome.

:o

The joker was about 2 hours ago!

If anything, the joker turned this seemingly non-contest (at the time) into the absolute cracker that it turned out to be!

Congratulations PUK, great ride. Sod off Pedersen :P

As for GB, 1 win in 20 heats, 1 word, embarrassment.

I'd rather see Lewis Kerr, Lewis Blackbird etc scoring zilch and getting the experience than has beens/never will bes wasting the opportunity.

I believe Rosco, I believe your just another GB clone manager who picks his mates. :nono:

Exciting final, let's hope rosco & tai get the backing for their 5 year plan

I think we should have under 19, under 21 & senior test team tours to every country who have us including tours down under

It doesn't matter who is picked for Team GB none of them are good enough apart from Tai.

He's more Aussie than British as well & if we had a 10 year plan he'd be back living their then as well.

Nice to see the Danish John Terry "Hans" enjoying the celebrations:-).

Are you for real a dreadful showing,no change no vision same old same old.I want to see what this new five year master plan is?i hope it is good.!

I believe there are people involved in British Speedway who have good ideas and have a desire to do whats right for the sport.

The problem is convincing the promoters who remain so set in their ways and prefer the sport to be amateurish and low-key
