dantodan
Here we go again, Boro v Newcastle. The Diamonds are going great guns at home but are not so good on their travels. Lewis Kerr will miss the match due to lopping the top of a finger on Sunday at Brough. That is a big blow as the Diamonds will miss his points. I presume it will be R/R on Thursday for Lewi? How does that work then? http://www.redcarbears.co/july-2014-news.html It means that everyone below him in the averages and one above can take his rides--thats how it works, you should know that as Newcastle use it alot!!

I think you know exactly what I meant . How do Redcar get a facility, when I'm pretty sure in the past, no facility was made available? As per discussions on another thread re averages it would appear to be another "lets make a new rule up that isn't listed anywhere!!" I can't recollect this scenario actually happening in the past, so when are you thinking of when facility wasn't granted?

StevePark
Why hasnt King got a true average now? He gets a 'proper' average on 1st August (9.06). His original 11.18 average is classed as a 'converted' average, rather than an 'assessed' average, apparently. Could be wrong though! Edited July 30, 2014 by Steve Park

northyorksbear
I thought it happened a couple of years ago when he rode for Newcastle? Could be wrong though! Don't remember it, but with BSPA may well have happened! Back to Thursday obviously r/r for Lemo is better than a NL rider, but still probably weakens the Bears. Kerr missing does on paper weaken Diamonds, but he was poor at Redcar earlier in season. Cook will strengthen Diamonds, although I was looking forward to seeing King, who knows he might have got a max, but Cook will score heavily. IMO Bears are favourites, but match will depend on Lindgren (who could score anywhere from 3/4 up to 17/18) and Rose plus two reserves, if any of these gives Cook and Robbo good support then Diamonds may nick it. Lets have a good track, decent weather and a good, safe meeting Edited July 30, 2014 by northyorksbear

Last time I was there it was bare as a badgers bum.

Unfortunately not been for 3 weeks (holiday then ill) but before that it starts good but rapidly loses dirt from inner half leaving a fast line round the boards (airfence)

If I remeber correctly, Proctor took ages to get a 'proper' average, due to call offs etc., but can't remember when he actually got one and after how many meetings. Er Steve how do you know a badgers bum is bare!. wot have you been up to? The Diamonds 2014 are a strange side. It has been hard to forecast any result. As we have not been going well away from Brough I sadly say Redcar to win this and us looking for the odd point. The Cookie Monster will do us proud I am sure and if he ever gets sick of Armadale we will have him for a career move

lucifer sam
Surely Lemo counts as being on official FIM international duty? It's not like he's gone to Poland for a holiday, is it? All the best Rob
