DSC67
Four zeros for Palovaara. Whilst nothing can be taken from riding a soaking track in very poor conditions, that'll get his average down nicely to start! Hopefully he doesn't have a repeat on Monday night! true what you say but its another asset for your club , and next season he'll have a proper ave and along with Berge and maybe Thomsen that's a start for next year Any links, or updates? sorry missed your post until after the SWC
Blacksmith
sorry missed your post until after the SWC No problem, I was typing during heat 20, and managed to hit the send button 6 or 7 times!!!
george.m
Another great performance tonight from Two Kevins. I can only hope he's paying us to ride for the Tigers. Either that or he's pumping someone in the promotion.
Robinh88
Wolbert hasn't had a good meeting at Berwick yet. Glasgow in the time I've followed Speedway have had the better Number Ones Watson, Parker, Stancl in his earlier days McGowan Bird, and Screen. The Swede is a dud. My memory is definitely going, a few riders who achieved No1 status at Glasgow I didn't realise! I must be a dud too.
screm
Largely uneventful meeting on a wet track, to be honest we were lucky to get a meeting especially after the constant rain pre-meeting. The new kid at No1 for Glasgow struggled badly throughout, though it probably is a bit unfair to judge him on tonight. I was interested to see how Wolbert got on after the recent changes, his first two was garbage, but his third ride was far better, infact had his teammate not fallen I think he would have won. Still think he should be performing far better than he is. Hopefully better weather is just round the corner, starting at Peterborough tomorrow where I will be heading in the morning. topsoil
Top marks to all concerned for getting the meeting on tonight. The racing was actually quite good given the conditions. None of the riders actually struggled to get round, the riding was smooth and there was a couple of good passes (Pijper up the inside of both Jensen and Wethers, then Kus around Berge). Personally didn't give the meeting much chance of going ahead beforehand. Good to see Kevin Doolan scoring well. He seems to be a whole lot more confident these days and has a harder edge about him. For Glasgow I was impressed with Pijper, Berge and Thomsen. Something to build on for the future. Can't really judge Palovaara on tonight. Give him six meetings home and away.
SCB
Its impressive really, a struggling team has just made their team weaker but the promotion are excited by it. Oh well! How so? R 0 0 0 = 0. Like that maybe?
Paulco
Pretty uneventful stuff , the young lads in our team must get so fed up . They're out giving 100% whilst Wolbert and Harrison aren't trying a leg . Harrison never made it past a third lap in each of his races as he plodded around at the back . Dimitri and Anders battled bravely , how exciting is Dimitri to watch ? The lad provided the only entertainment on a rain sodden track . Theo was superb also , shame it went wrong at the start in heat 15 . Berwick were solid throughout . I know it was a dreadful day weatherwise , but that has to be the smallest crowd i've ever seen at a Premier League meeting . As for our new guy , first meeting on a rain sodden track and using borrowed machinery probably isn't fair to judge him on tonight alone , but i fear he could join a long list of foreign duds we've signed . samsplint
They're warming the bikes up, even though the track is as wet, if not wetter than last week when the meeting was postponed. Didn't see you there chris
SCB
So what's next weeks lottery numbers smart ass? To know that would be luck. To know how good or bad a speedway rider will be just takes a little research.
Shadders
Harrison never made it past a third lap in each of his races as he plodded around at the back . I was at Armadump on a Rockets Northern Tour around 2006 when Harrison was Moanarchs captain. The usual rain had fallen and the track was soaked. The meeting went ahead after a track inspection, but Harrison didn't fancy it and was long gone. He has history Didn't see you there chrisThat's because I was back home in Hoddesdon. Didn't make it past the gate last week
ragdoll64
R 0 0 0 = 0. Like that maybe? Oh! For a second there I thought you were hinting that we were going to sign Rory Schlein. Lol

He has history I was there too , i remember it well Last night was just a continuation of the frustrating season we're having . Surely it's not unreasonable to expect 6 or 7 points from the likes of Wolbert and Harrison on our travels , most of the time it would appear beyond two capable and experienced heat leaders . No harm to young Liam Carr , but should the likes of Wolbert not be brushing aside novices with ease , instead of following them round at the back . samsplint
That's not the information I had. Well I was in the stadium last week and the water was lying on the track in fact from bend 1 the back straight was looking like a lake at one point the water was about 4ft up the banking on the 4th bend nothing like that last night in fact they didn't even need to sweep any water last night
