topsoil
Forecast is not looking good for the weekend. Berwick having absolutely no luck with weather this season, most weeks it has been beautiful 6 days a week, then Saturday afternoon / evening it starts to rain, only to dry up about 8 - half 8. Don't know how many more rain-offs the club will be able to take financially. Hopefully we can dodge the showers.

If only we had a micro climate like the "perfectionists"!
penchev
Stinking forecast yet again for Saturday, the met office is never far wrong!
screm
Financially the last thing Berwick need is another rain-off as these recent rain-offs must have hit the club hard, not to mention the fact we might struggle to get all our meetings in by the cut off.

Unfortunatly the weather is something we have no control of, what can you do about it.......absolutely nothing. Â And the best of it is we are having one of our better seasons! Â And the best of it is we are having one of our better seasons! Â What makes it worse is that for the last two Saturday home meetings Berwick will have had to pay out on expenses as the riders have reached Shielfield and been ready to go, both times the weather has been fine right up to late afternoon before the rain came. Who would be a promoter in this instance, unless we get some leeway from the Council to run more off night meetings, we wont get our meetings done by the cut-off date, double headers would be an option but they would hit the club financially even more than rain-offs. cheggie
So what's the Glasgow team? What's the big secret? IMO - would any changes not need to be declared today in order to be able to ride on Saturday night!?
smod
If a new 1/7 has been submitted today, it'll be OK if approved tomorrow -- it is when it is submitted that counts. Â But what is it? Tigers have plenty of points available.

Alan_Jones
It's Victor Palovaara...   http://www.glasgowtigers.co  So, a Finnish Swede who isn't remotely Italo-Argentinian as the "I know something you don't" crowd would have had us believe. MD
It's Victor Palovaara...   http://www.glasgowtigers.co  Another 7 point assessed rider. Glasgow don't have a good track record of unearthing diamonds in these type of riders. Hope it all works out and that he can get a proper average by the end of the season.  Pijper to No5 then Wolbert possibly reverting to No2? SCB
Its impressive really, a struggling team has just made their team weaker but the promotion are excited by it. Oh well!
