Star Lady
Can't see a specific thread for this one apologies if I've missed it. Big question will the Danes go through or have they made a mistake thinking GB would go to the race off and not Australia. Other question is who will Nigel Pearson be touting for a British berth tonight?
Woz01
Danes will have too much for Sweden I think but this will certainly be competitive with Latvia and Czech Rep involved. Nigel Pearson will be touting Oliver Berntzon tonight im still hoping the Bees sign him up!
mdmc82
Think if Danes don't go through tonight then they will put out stronger team in play offs and should be able to beat Aussies easily. Wouldn't rule USA out either.
BritPete
Of course the Danes will win. Hansi has just tweeted as much!
pandorum
Danes look strong even with the 2nd team. Hope Sweden and Latvia vying for second.
g13webb
Cant imagine for one moment there will be any surprises tonight. Denmark 1st; Sweden and Latvia into the playoffs on Thursday.
Adder
The pecking order should be established early tonight with the Danes easing through, Sweden and Latvia comfy in 2nd and 3rd and the Spinka Army tailed off in 4th. Could turn into a bit of a non-event really but hope i'm wrong!
racers and royals
Well I for one do not think Denmark will have it easy-with the team they have picked -I can see Sweden running them close.

Some heavy showers in the afternoon maybe, followed by sun, and a nice temperature aswell according to this site: http://www.klart.se/väder-västervik.html?v=per_timme
Star Lady
c Well I for one do not think Denmark will have it easy-with the team they have picked -I can see Sweden running them close. Agreed. It only needs a couple of problems -tapes or efs and they could be in trouble. The Latvians won't be a push over IMO. If Dryml gates he could spring a surprise or two and who knows what Milik will do. The Swedes I'm not sure about could be brilliant could be carp. As Event 1 didn't go to the expected (by everyone except Rosco) script who knows what tonight will bring.
mothorsen
Denmark won't have it easy, but I truly believe they have the strongest and most consistent team. And it would benefit the exitement of the Race-Off if they win. Sweden/USA/Australia/Latvia could be a killer:)
Mike.Butler
The Swedes I'm not sure about could be brilliant could be carp. If the latter i've no doubt they will be reeled in by the minnows...
Star Fever
If the latter i've no doubt they will be reeled in by the minnows... Yep Danes could get knocked off their perch, but should be in first plaice
A ORLOV
Yep Danes could get knocked off their perch, but should be in first plaice Unless they get battered.
Team Man
The Danes could float through if they tackle the track properly and don't make a gaff
longlivefrankie
I wonder if the Danes bikes hook up, are fast enough off the line & they aren't caught out.
LagutaRacingFan
Some serious delusion going on in this thread; Sweden will win this tonight. If Sweden don't win this event tonight; I won't post on any section of the Speedway Forum until September the 1st The only way Sweden can lose this is if one of their riders gets injured and has to withdraw and in that case; my pledge is invalid. Look at Sweden's side. Tomas H Jonasson and Andreas Jonsson are better than anything in the Danish side.
