Super Blue
Having had a few issues discussed on the Ipswich 2014 thread I thought it might be worth starting this one up in its own right , a tad early I know but plenty of time for discussion may be required . It seems Richie Worrall is going to be absent as reserve for team GB in the World cup and Gino will also be absent riding for the USA on Thursday in the World cup race off . This would appear to rather devastate our top order requiring using a guest at No 1 and r/r to cover for Gino . Not an ideal situation and one we could do without whilst striving to accumulate as many points as possible to secure a playoff place . Who do we think would be best available to guest for Richie and do we think a ride each for Rohan , Ritchie H and the reserves will adequately cover for the loss of Gino ? Personally I think we might struggle to take all the league points on offer and Berwick will probably never have a better opportunity to do some damage to our plans . So , what do we reckon then ? dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Masters to guest would be my choice. R/R needs to produce 6-8 to be acceptable coverage for Gino. I think the boys can do that. Berwick look solid and are capable of picking up a win if we are not up for it from the off. Hoping for a 50-40 Witches win. Baldyman
Rr for our number 1and blackbird at 2 would be my option. The rest should be able to cover Ritchie average of 7.4. Blackbird has been worth plenty of points on his visits. Masters at 1 and rr at 2 would produce same amount of points, so much of the same to me.
Shadders
Fancy Berwick to get something out of this.

If Masters isnt available at No1 then I agree that the guest for Gino could be the best options as the choice at 1 becomes very limited. crescent girl
When the Bandits have their own seven riders on track (as they will on Thursday) they can be dependably solid. They have already scored 49 at Workington, 52 at Plymouth, 50 at Redcar and 52 at Glasgow, collecting 4-point away wins each time. With seven matches in hand, Berwick are just four points below Ipswich in this morning's PL table, and seem nailed-on for a top-six finishing place, probably above the Witches in the finishing order. Downside is that I don't think the Bandits have achieved any kind of result on Foxhall Heath since a draw there in 1990. Should be good! sparkafag
Berwick could finish in the top 6 racing about 7 or 8 meetings less than half the teams in the league.

I know that, but your final position determines who gets pick of opponents,it could make difference if we don't complete all our fixtures, read the post before making a silly reply.

What a tart. It might be worth educating yourself on forum etiquette! If you are replying to a post you quote it. My comment was just a passing observation, you aren’t as important to me as you seem to believe yourself to be my dear. Super Blue
Getting a tad off piste here. I think if we make the right choice on the guest front and the rest of the team performs like last week against the Rebels we should be ok, however with the Witches home form as erratic as it has been this season absolutely any result is possible! Should be an interesting encounter.

smod
Where is this fable about Richie Worrall being missing coming from? He is listed in Witches' teams logged with BSPA for Thursday and Friday. Only rider not available for this meeting is Gino Manzares.
Super Blue
Where is this fable about Richie Worrall being missing coming from? He is listed in Witches' teams logged with BSPA for Thursday and Friday. Only rider not available for this meeting is Gino Manzares. Richie Worrall is the official reserve for the World cup team and we were given the impression that he would not be available to ride anywhere else until the World cup is finished. Perhaps we have been fed duff info, does anyone have a definitive answer to this? Edited July 29, 2014 by Super Blue
