Panthers89
A lot depends on dads army in the middle order for Sheffield IMO, Rebels win by 2.
Bagpuss
As a GB fan if Stead rode tonight and picked up an injury which ruled him out of Saturday's final I'd be a little cheesed off. You don't see footballers playing for their club side during THE World Cup!
Crazy robin
So Brady Kurtz becomes the 30th future World Champion in the view of Nigel Pearson. Why does he keep on saying it at nearly every Sky meeting.

He's going to be correct at one stage, and least he hasn't said David Howe yet
stevebrum
Wow, watching the so called better league playing to a virtual empty stadium. Its good to see that all is rosey in the PL. Meeting is taking a while to get going.

Panthers89
He's not tried to get Covatti a job tonight yet either! Still a few heats to go yet Some good heats so far, certainly no different to the Elite League shown so far, with a few good heats here and there. For the benefit of your wind up , seen as your used to watching the tinpot jazzed up conference league , no spectators allowed along the back straight at Sheffield Edited July 28, 2014 by homer

Star Lady
Must be my failing memory but the Sheffield track I remember and loved used to have loads of dirt on it. This tonight looks bare by comparison.

Meeting is taking a while to get going. Virtually empty? I thought it looks quite a healthy crowd. Sheffield's back straight is closed to spectators by the way for health and safety of I remember correctly.

Panthers89
Wind up?? and the reason why one man and a dog on the corners?? How many stand on your backstraight and 3rd/4th bend? Beaten to it by SCB, crowd is definitely no worse than an Elite League meeting as majority of tracks this season. stevebrum
Safety reasons On the corners?? How many do you get on the corners at Wolves? There is a difference. Sheffield HAVE standing on the corners. Good effort tho. How many stand on your backstraight and 3rd/4th bend? Beaten to it by SCB, crowd is definitely no worse than an Elite League meeting as majority of tracks this season. Another one ignoring the fact our corners aren't allowed to view on, unlike the meeting at Sheffield. Heat 10 was a superb race. Great effort from the Wolves asset. So they have everyone on the start/finish line, and on a bend, what's the difference between that and wolves? Superb heat there, Lawson and Pontus fence scraping to the extreme! and was Screeny half a sleep there? Why no Taylor Poole for Wilson????
MrMungo
and was Screeny half a sleep there? Why no Taylor Poole for Wilson????Poole will probably be out in heat 11 and 12 aswell, so 3 on a trot may be asking a little too much. Yes i`ve just squinted my eyes to see there are more than one man and his dog on the 3rd and 4th bend. You make a valid comparison. Both EL and PL struggle to fill stadiums.
