redlead
The one is on Speedway World Cup duty. The other was riding around in a field as practice for riding around in a field. At least Mark Lemons job is in the same competition. That said, he could have flown back if he'd really wanted to be there. Riders aren't allowed to compete in other meetings between SWC matches, hence Simon Stead at Sheffield on Monday but not allowed to ride, I assume it's the same for managers. Mark Lemons not riding though, thats the point that was initially being made.

John Leslie
Maybe another solution is assessed riders cannot drop more than a point below their assessed figure - that was they get a chance to settle if their figure drops a little but no 7 pointers coming in and getting 3. I've long said no one should be allowed to drop below their initial assessed average. If a novice comes in on an assessed 3.00 his average can never drop below 3.00, so if an experienced international comes in on an assessed 7.00 he should never drop below 7.00 no one should ever come in on 7.00, ride a handful of crap matches and then start stealing the job of a 3.00 kid.

That's the Monarchs knackered then.

Tsunami
So how many teams have managers who still ride in league competition? Only one, and we didn't get RR when Mark rode for us, but Redcar gets RR against us tonight. Oh the irony.
Rteyp
Enjoyed last night as too did some first time guests I took. Agree with all above, the team looked more engaged and the atmosphere amongst the crowd more positive. Rather like the mid-week fixture, would like to see more of them.
