cityrebel
This coming Wednesday sees the rockets take on Redcar in a rare midweek meeting at the launch pad. There is a bit of high cloud forecast for the hoddesdon area, so fingers crossed Len don't call it off!

Shadders
Hope Silver doesn't realise there's drag racing on ESPN at the same time, otherwise he'll call this one off too!!
bolly
Hope Silver doesn't realise there's drag racing on ESPN at the same time, otherwise he'll call this one off too!! I hear those sneaky b******s at FIM have slipped the SWC final in next Saturday without telling Len till a few days before. So he has had to change all his plans that he has had arranged for weeks )))

TheScotsman
be interesting to see what the turn out is for this midweek meeting..... About 257 I expect, though some of them might be on freebies.
Mr Ore
About 257 I expect, though some of them might be on freebies. If that's the case maybe Thrillpool's industrial sized tin of mushy peas will ensure everyone has a decent portion on the night. I always look forward to having a nice pea on a Wednesday evening. Should be a good meeting. Looking forward to it. Come and say hello. Does anyone know what the teams will be? With apologies to the many other BSF clichés I have omitted. Mr Ore
http://www.redcarbears.co/july-2014-news.html Cheers Steve. I actually will be there (subject to it being on) and think it could be close. Won't comment on the Mark Lemon situation as I actually like the guy and know he could get injured if he were to ride, but seems a fairly unique reason for R/R. WembleyLion
what right have the FIM got to run the World Cup final on the same night as rye v Newcastle! When the World Cup final was at Reading in 2006 (with TeamGB in the final) Len ran a home meeting against Glasgow!

stevemill
I'll be there tonight , should be a close one as can see Lawson going unbeaten . For Rye to win the 3 B's ,Boxall, Bunyan and Bowen need to get there fingers out as all 3 have had a very poor run of form lately but as we know there place is safe with Len in charge , any other promoter would have got rid weeks ago.
