racers and royals
Great effort lads, thought we had no chance of winning, let alone with two races to spare, and with Aus and USA getting 3 bonus points from the joker. Hopefully Sweden do the business Monday then we might have a shot at a medal. What has happened to Lynn though? Never saw a bad meeting there until 18 months ago, and since then the half dozen or so I've seen live or on Tele have been utter bilge. They had tac subs too. This was a very good performance by GB.
Blacksmith
whatever you do dont go on any Edinburgh threads and say this because you get shot down for an opinion lolYou don't just air your opinion though, do you?You have to insult anyone that had the audacity to have a different opinion from yours. nw42
pure genius is rosco... getting woodward to fall on his arse, getting an out of his depth itie to block woodward, getting ward to break down at the gate and then make him see an imaginary red light so he pulls up is truly the work of a speedway genius... now all that is left is for him to get covatti a job... now that would be impressive.... He's good but I can't see him pulling that off...... However, Nige & Kelv will probably have that one boxed off by 9pm
pandorum
Well done England. Doubt they have a hope in hell of winning but a rostrum place is a great result. I like Kel and Nige but there are plenty of people looking for a team spot better than that Italian. They may be on a percentage of his earnings though. Italy a joke team and it was more a 3 team tournament. Hope USA finish 2nd

Star Lady
Well done Rosco, you managed what Middlo couldn't and with more or less the same pool of riders. There was some luck but we all need that. Can't see Team GB doing much in the final so I''d put one of the youngsters in.

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Just the result I was hoping for - a GB win and Gino putting in a great performance.
kenny bee firefly
Most fans know that either with Cook or King, or anyone else for that matter Team GB have little or no chance in winning the meeting tonight, and virtually no hope whatsoever of making the Final. Good prediction mate !

van wolfswinkel
Fantastic management from the Swindon truck driver, and brilliant team performance. Get Steady(and Doyley) back at The Abbey next season. Well done to Batch, and especially Greg and the Yanks. Big shock the favs Aussie coming third. SCB
Said for years Rosco was the man for the job. Brave call picking Stead and it worked.

The right man CAN motivate the team. Well done Rosco, showing a has been how its done.
nw42
I see Scott has taken his pal shopping for shirts, nice threads on show from the 2 of them tonight. I suppose the fact that I noticed this sums up the poor quality of the racing tonight. Still, well done GB, best of luck next weekend. Popular Post Jacques
It was notable that there was so much more passion in the team. Well done lads! So Starman, tell us what you've been telling us all year that Rosco couldn't do a better job! The Aussies were awful, granted, but that was a great and gutsy performance from the Brits... Back to reality now...I expect we'll get stuffed in the final, we're just not a match for the Danes in particular ...But you never know! I questioned Rosco's decision to include Stead, WOW, did he prove us wrong. I'd stick with the same team for the final.

spin king
Rosco was absolutely spot on with his team selection for this one, choosing Simon Stead was a brave and inspiring choice, especially when you saw Simon take heat 1. A message to Craig Cook, put the dummy back in and grow up and be man.
