Daniel Smith
Absolute dross of a meeting. Way way way to slick. Only line is right round the curb
Mr Blobby
cant have an unsatisfactiry start when the incident is on turn 2 - youre a Edinburgh fan so should be very aware of that! wink Bravo sir
pandorum
Hardly a great spectacle but absorbing enough to enjoy. We are doing really well and Stead has certainly stuffed his critics words back at them (including me). Yanks doing well and Billy would be a fool to replace any of his men by tac subs as 3rd is a certainty and they need the experience. It's not their fault as they are not up to the standard but Italy are an absolute joke team. Imagine the meeting if Russia was not in a mess
spanner47
Just hope the track gets better. The league meeting on sky earlier in the year was inside line all night, looks like tonight is the same. But at least it saves the fans on the Bends getting filled in. mikebv
seen a lot worse meetings than this to be fair... KL is 'too fast' on the pole line when you get a decent rider in front, but when the weather cools it may get a bit more grippy on the outside... at least gb look like they are 'up for it'.... go steady!!!!!! SCB
Manzares does what Greg and Ward can't do Beat Stead. The GB race suits are not very GB are they? Edited July 26, 2014 by SCB
Speedy swindon pete
Said it during the KL v Robins sky match earlier in the year...perfect night for speedway, warm, clear, no threat of rain...there are no excuses for once again producing a track so devoid of opportunities to race and pass on. This supposedly coming from the best track and track man in the country. When the reigning world champion and established EL riders can't get close to passing an American junior, something is clearly very very wrong. Lets hope it improves later in the meeting.

Speedy swindon pete
or perhaps Gino is a bit better than you givr him credit for. To be fair he has ridden well, the other lad has got into points positions and hasn't looked like being passed though. Awful awful racing. Classic Harris waving his arms about if someone races him slightly hard, still leaving him plenty of room. And why the hell are they using a bodge-job traffic cone with a broom handle stuck in it to steady the tapes...looks real professional. Something to forgot to move off the track, as in heat 10, thank Christ no one was going for the cut back on that 2nd lap. Shocker.
