Well done Team GB excellent performance we lead from Heat 1 and never looked back.

Well said. they were the best team all night and even with all 3 of the other teams using Jokers and Tactical subs they couldn't catch us

Darcy Ward was shocking tonight

Rosco was absolutely spot on with his team selection for this one, choosing Simon Stead was a brave and inspiring choice, especially when you saw Simon take heat 1.

A message to Craig Cook, put the dummy back in and grow up and be man.

tbf I don't think cook has said owt, it's his arselicking Edinburgh hangers on that have..... Correct decision, well done Rosco

Darcy Ward seemed grumpy or unhappy all night. Didn't even seem to want to mix with his team mates either, which is unlike him.

Great to see GB winning on home soil again, Aussie were lacklustre but still a great achievement to beat them when they were only missing Holder (a big loss granted but they have some decent riders to fill in).

Nice also that Rosco's team selection paid off, really pleased to see Steady scoring above his weight and looks to have been an astute selection. Think it would be harsh to change the team for the final on that showing.

I'm sure Middlo would be lobbying for Kennett to be put in there though! :icon_smile_clown:

Thoroughly enjoyed tonights meeting with passion, decent racing, fair track, and an even better result. All the talking down of Rosco, and the team members, has made the doom mongers look quite stupid. TBF I Didn't expect it myself, but I at least was prepared for our team to put up a decent performance. They didn't disappoint, and if other teams offer you the chance to take points, and you take them, you then deserve them.

Be interesting to watch the other 2 rounds not caring who gets through, as I can't see us bothering the bigger teams in the Final.

Excellent performance from GB, Darcy and the Aussies had some bad luck perhaps but wouldn't have been right in my eyes if the only side not to use the joker hadn't won. Rosco picked the right team and got them fired up so hats off to him.

Thought as a spectacle the meeting was poor however, Lynn is nowhere near the track it was. The quickest line starts round the kerb and slowly makes its way out to the fence as the meeting goes on and if the rider in front rides the correct line its usually impossible for the rider behind to pass. Maybe its time for a change of muck from the heavy, grippy stuff used by Buster to something which allows a few more lines to develop. Longer term I think shorter straights and wider turns would improve things too.

Think Denmark and Aussies will join us and Poland in the final and we'll do very well to get on the rostrum, hope the boys prove me wrong.
