Because he's British and god forbid some fans of his country may wanna see one of the current best in Britain push himself that wee bit harder to make himself a regular in the WC squad!

But he's reached his peak

I'm not convinced he had to be honest. We'll never know I guess until he starts riding on the continent regularly.

He's in that group just below Harris and Nicholls . Stead , Barker and Cook . All perfectly decent riders at a British level , but i cant see any Polish club falling over themself to sign any of them

Just needs some of these fans of his country to come up with some decent sponsorship.

I've asked the question many times . Where does all the BSPA money go that they collect from all the big meetings like the Pairs , Fours , riders championships etc . Surely that should be filtered down through the ranks of the British riders

Since you've asked: The clue is in the phrase "shared events".

The profit -- if any -- is pooled, and divided among the member-clubs at the end of term.

Probably not equally, as I'd imagine the EL clubs get bigger cheques than PL, and NL even less.

But in theory, each year's profit -- if any -- is divided amoung the clubs, and they start again next year with nothing in the kitty.

Back into the pockets of the promoters then, not designated to help British riders. A good accountant will soon stop any profits being shown

Unfortunately not, it goes towards reducing each club's losses. It doesn't amount to much anyway by the time it is divided by the number of teams. If you split it again amongst the riders they might get a few tyres each.

You don't need an accountant to stop speedway clubs showing a profit!

I have said on several occasions now that Craig wants to ride abroad he has also had offers but has rejected them due to not having enough finances to make that jump just yet.

As usual though the every one else on her knows what best for him.

He will have to win the Lottery to improve his finances, his speedway earnings are certainly not going to get any better than what he has earned in the last 2 seasons. At 27 just yet maybe leaving it too late.Cant see Continental clubs rushing for his signature.Good Luck to him though.
