emilali
Berwick is just a gaters track full stop, and always has been, even going back the 20 odd years I've been going there, and most if not all riders will tell you.......if they are being honest And Armadale is a true racers track isnt it 😳, all the worlds top riders have it top of there priority list to master the place....

Adrian.michal, to name a few oh and on top of that we haven't been back at shielfield for 20 odd years
Blacksmith
I have seen some good racing at Shielfield over the years, but my two visits this year have witnessed almost zero passing after the sort out on the first half lap, or so. The track can produce good racing, so it would seem it is the preparation that is letting it down Edited July 26, 2014 by Blacksmith

Robinh88
Well done to the Monarchs they are human they will lose meetings but they got back to winning ways no messing about and showed no mercy. Â I admire the Monarchs there domestic record speaks volumes, there riders seem to enjoy racing for them and enjoy sucess. Cook's twitter should be banned huge ego little talent away from Belle Vue and the lofty heights of the PL. Â As for the Bandits well it was an embarrasment but we've had plenty under the Andersons and we will have plenty more howlers. We are not run the same way as Edinburgh. That being said Edinburgh make errors also. Â Generally this season at Berwick results have been a big improvement. I would question where some of the Bandits riders intentions lie like I do most seasons. Maybe those will be weeded out next season but overall we still have a good side and with some positive tinkering next year could be up there competing again
Shadders
A lot of the anti Edinburgh stuff is down to pure jealousy. I remember reading anti Rye House posts on the forum when we had a decent side in the mid 2000's. As for Cook, he does himself no favours whatsoever. I have to question the guys ambition. Haven't seen enough of him to form an opinion of his talent, but if he really wants to be a future GP star he won't achieve that unless he packs up racing in the PL and takes the Polish/Swedish route, pitting himself against the worlds best on a weekly basis. Monarchlad
Unfortunately Cookie cant race in Polish/Swedish league due to having a high average, and it gives him too high a points average to get into a team.....or so i believe. bigeddiechek
 What would you really expect a press release to say? They have to try and be positive, even when it was an impossible task  we were always going to get hammered toight so its no surprise at all, its the strongest Edinburgh team in years against a weakened Berwick team. I'm just glad weve come away with no injuries, Lets just move on by taking all 3 points tomorrow at home and hopefully take something at Glasgow on Sunday  An almost prophetic post there...or maybe you just know your speedway? Perhaps when he starts to show some ambition and quit the PL and branches out he may improve. In my opinion though I think he'll spend his entire career at Armadale scoring a max everyweek. Bandits4eva
YAWN. Exactly the reaction I expected... Not often I agree with emilali but in this case I do. He needs to sack PL completely and get out on to the continent... He's got little chance of going forward any more than he has done unless he takes a chance now.... Robinh88
I am sure Apator Torun are waiting on Edinburgh's finest to sign the dotted line
george.m
Maybe he's happy making good money that he can bank for a rainy day when he's not riding speedway. Perhaps he knows he won't be a World Champion and his ambitions have a different perspective from those on BSF whom assume differently. Mr Blobby
I have said on several occasions now that Craig wants to ride abroad he has also had offers but has rejected them due to not having enough finances to make that jump just yet. Â As usual though the every one else on her knows what best for him. Edited July 30, 2014 by Mr Blobby

Paulco
Why should anyone , apart from Edinburgh and Belle Vue fans , really care where Craig Cook rides next season or beyond
Bandits4eva
Why should anyone , apart from Edinburgh and Belle Vue fans , really care where Craig Cook rides next season or beyond Because he's British and god forbid some fans of his country may wanna see one of the current best in Britain push himself that wee bit harder to make himself a regular in the WC squad!
