screm
Berwick were beyond shocking, no excuses. Loads of Dale experience in that line up so report card must do better, what annoys me is that Edinburgh ride Berwick better than Berwick rides Armadale As you say all of the Berwick riders should have done enough laps round Edinburgh by now to be able to work the place out, at least as professional sportsman you would've thought that would be the case, what makes it worse is we have two ex-Edinburgh riders in our team. The Berwick riders need to get their heads around Armadale, no one expects us to go up there and win but its not much to ask that we put on better showings than last night......is it.

The Bandits had a shocking record at Rye House, similar to that at Armadump, but you seemed to have worked it out in recent years, helped by a shocking decline in the Rockets side. I'm expecting you to win at our place

Shadders
Nice to see a good performance from Sam Masters after his match winning performance at Sheffield the night before.Announced numerous times last night as "the smiliest man in British Speedway". I don't s'pose many Tigers fans were smiling at that awful performance on Thursday. As a recent PLRC winner you'd think he'd be able to negotiate the track

Mind you the lad does have a lovely smile, maybe Colgate could sponsor him.

Yeah 3 points from 5 rides, really made all the difference.
Blacksmith
Or the difference between 2 & 3 league pointsI think the fact he had a bad crash would indicate that he was trying, and not just trundling around.Man and machine were apparently in a bit of a mess when they left Owlerton, and I would hazard a guess that the cost of repairs would have made it a loss making night for Sam, but don't let any of that get in the way of having a dig Edited July 26, 2014 by Blacksmith

Gavan
It is nice that you acknowledge the points he scored was the difference between Sheffield winning, or losing. yes it was his 3 points that made the difference jeez. The trouble is here you can count on one hand the cockiness of the Edinburgh. True speedway fans dont mock and jest at other clubs yet can still enjoy thier side. Unfortunatly the same select few are turning neutrals against the side

Although I don't believe them to be smug, they have good grounds to be smug.

Damn right they have, instead of hurling insults towards the Monarchs it might be an idea if some clubs supporters were asking them why aren't we looking at what Edinburgh are doing to be so successful and applying it to their own teams.

Edinburgh booked a shocking guest last season, and I aired my displeasure to John Campbell, and Brian Gray (Edinburgh directors ) on my entry to the stadium on the night . I am sure he tried his best, and it wasn't his fault he was booked, but he was awful. I certainly wouldn't go on his own teams forum if he had a good score his next match, to have a dig at him. Is it being smug defending one of my teams riders, that despite the occasional low score, always gives 100%? Don't remember any insult's a lot of banter but can't see were the insult's are or maybe the definition on insult is seen differently from person to person and anyway enough of sticking up for them or they will be gloating even more but you are correct they are a really good team just wish they would assemble a really crap one for a change . Monarchlad
Berwick is just a gaters track full stop, and always has been, even going back the 20 odd years I've been going there, and most if not all riders will tell you.......if they are being honest
