Even starting early it is dodgy trying to have double headers these days if you have a curfew ,if we have a incident that requires the County Ambulance we will do well to complete 30 heats,Still fingers crossed for a smooth running meeting.

According to Mr Barrie, via his column, its 26 heats.

Double headers at Shielfield are about as rare as a Bandits away win at that San Siro of Scottish speedway that is Armadale , I think the last one we had involved Reading but I can't remember who the other team was . Anyways we need to finish as high up the league as possible , hopefully in second place if as looks likely Edinburgh are going to finish top .to do that the Bandits have to come through both of these meetings with all six points

1998 Skegness/Reading, we got mullered both times, down to 3 bikes in one meeting

With berwick back to full strength apart from the unlucky wethers. can see berwick hitting the 60 mark with ease

You are starting to sound like another team not far north from you with comments like that :nono: .

Have we scored 60 at Home this season, never mind with ease?which Jensen will turn up 0 or17.

Berwick have not yet hit 60pts this season at home, their best effort was 59 against Sheffield a couple of weeks ago, though they have conceded sixty a time or two away from home.

You were told by someone to expect something like this to happen which is why I find this quite a joke!

I seem to recall a double header involving Hull and someone else a few years back...im sure we won the first meeting but lost the 2nd. Looking forward to this one....hopefully 6 points on the board. What is the order of the meetings?

Rye House first (6.30pm), Newcastle second. Not sure how that works as this is the Newcastle date originally, with Rye House being added!

Silver needs to get back to Rye House as soon as possible to get the track ready for Sunday, after he's asked the Bandits promotion how they'd like it prepared. Edited by Shadders

So Hawkins for Luke, R/R for Anders, wouldn't be shocked to see Farnaby and Carr in the place of Boxall and Garrity.

They couldn't persuade anyone to replace Edward at Somerset a couple of weeks ago. Who's gonna travel to Berwick on a Saturday night knowing they could lose money?
