therefused
Interesting to read in Mondays programme that Woffy has been approached by another club without asking permission. The answer naturally is no. I'd say it's likely to be one of the 5 teams in contention for the play offs. As expected Tai has no interest in riding for any other EL team. At least he didn't use dodgy engine failures to achieve it tho. he has no interest in riding for any el team, even wolves.

Think the forum would go into meltdown if he slotted in at Poole.Matt Ford has admitted he will make changes if they improve the team, the potential world champion Woffinden on a 7 point average is a game changer, would take a few bob thou. stevebrum
he has no interest in riding for any el team, even wolves. He has made that clear, and his commitment that he won't ride for any other EL team. Think the forum would go into meltdown if he slotted in at Poole.Matt Ford has admitted he will make changes if they improve the team, the potential world champion Woffinden on a 7 point average is a game changer, would take a few bob thou. It's commitment not money that is the deciding factor. Seems Tai has that at least.
EnglishRoundabout
Money talks. Loyalty is a word used in the past and has now been discarded. Bet your bottom dollar if the right figure is offered, the future world champion will take it with both hands.

True enough although Matt Ford is probably the only promoter who could tempt him. Would be strange to see him riding in blue, I guess similar to Ward being in red! INCOGNITO
Wolves look like they could be finishing the season with four riders holding a 6+ average and Tobiasz just under 5. Jacob looks like finishing with a higher average than the 6.25 he started on just ahead of PK and Ricky just over six and Freddie just under seven. Freddie next year has to be a must unless he is in the Grand Prix series and if they can get two riders above seven it should be much better next season even though it looks like the two new heat leaders would have to be on loan or bought as Tai and Piotr would be unlikely
Aces51
I think you might be struggling to find two riders over 7 unless Lakeside don't run and even then not sure Jonsson would want to ride for a Monday club. Pinny
Makes me laugh how Brum is so in denial about Woffy only ever wanting to ride for Wolves!! You only have to look at Andreas Jonsson who said for years he would never ride for anyone other than Coventry - yet has spent much of his UK career as a Lakeside rider. There have been many cases where a rider has said something and people believe them, i remember being stood with a few fans at newport in the old bar under the grand stand at Newport with Craig Watson in 2001(?) , hed just reeled off a fifteen point max for the Kangaroos against the young lions and was asked if he would be back at Newport the following season (he was at Poole at the time). He said no chance, the only club hed ride for would be poole in the future. Who announced him as their number one a few weeks later - Newport! I have no doubt that Woffindens heart lies with Wolves in the uk but it only takes one good offer from a decent club like poole or lynn and hed be there.

I don't think that Tai loyalties lie with Wolves more so with Peter Adams. While ever Peter Adams is part of the Wolves management team Tai will stick with Wolves if rides in this country. If Peter Adams is not then?

The same Woffy that turned down a club this month to ride in the UK you mean? You really are priceless. Perhaps WHEN Woffy rides for another club in the EL you can have a laugh at my expense. The only way Tai wouldn't be back for Wolves if he rode here again would be if he severed all ties with Pete Adams. I know that, anyone with any sense knows that. I guess it's just you that thinks different. Excuse me while I have a little titter at you're expense. Thanks for making my day. Pinny
Of course the most likely club will be Wolves but you never know, your the one making a wally of yourself on this forum on a daily basis and i will happily have a $100 bet with you right now that in the next decade, Woffy will have ridden for a UK club other than Wolves? The fact that another club has gone in for him is irrelevent - i stated that a club could make a good deal he cant refuse. The club interested in him could of been leicester and they could of offered a poor deal. I cannot wait for the day Woffy does sign for another club, as it will happen I am sure.

Thanks for your constructive critique. One day you may make a post of any validity. It will probably take as long as tai riding in the EL for another club for that to happen. good luck with your petty wish too. Just afforded myself another titter, keep em coming. Wouldn't be a great loss to Tai IMHO The man has a proven record, still being proven.
INCOGNITO
Tai has had a number of offers to ride here recently but his calendar has been a key to his success this year in the GP's. Now he has a 24 point lead he may feel riding here in the play offs could be done just like Greg did with Poole a bit ago but it would be more to help a friend than be looking for a new team

stevebrum
A proven record in what? Failure? Wolves aren't exactly a force to be reckoned with! It's a history Rosco would kill for and isn't in the same league. However I was referring to his involvement with other world champions. Tai WANTS him there, says it all. Lefty
Hi Folks, Is the Olympique using the traditional 16 rider, 20 heat formula? I haven't seen any updated news on who is riding. Thanks, Lefty
