mdmc82
Still confused as to why Wolves picked Josh Bates when They could have had any rider on the 2nd tier including Starke, Rose and Sarjeant.

Personally id have gone for Nielsen,he goes well around Monmore. He and Blackbird would have taken some stopping on their home track. But just have to stick with what weve got now,but not very hopeful Bates will pick up any points against the Bees reserves next week. Remind me what track Starke rode at last season.... and his NL average compared to Nielsens.

Agree Bates is on paper the weakest of the 4 reserves, however he may be able to pick up points from Jamrog when the teams meet 😞
Beowulf
Not looking forward to next week against Coventry. Harris and Robson are track specialists, and Andersen and King can get round the place. Jamrog won't do anything, but overall the Coventry reserves are better than ours. I'll take a 2 point win at the moment.

Fourentee
As for pairings and riding numbers ? ....... think the format doesn't really do much but as Tobiasz may need time, the #5 does get to go out alongside the other heat leaders so maybe he could be better there and give Freddie the #1. Much of the noise from management over the winter has concerned the prospect of having a No.1 capable of going out and winning the first race to set the tone of the meeting. That being so, one would have to presume Lindgren is the man.
T.N.T.
Still confused as to why Wolves picked Josh Bates when They could have had any rider Paul Starke was the obvious choice, especially around Monmore Green and along with Sarjeant, Rose and possibly Nathan Greaves they seemed to be the most likely candidates at the draft. However Josh had won the British U21 title at Monmore Green and he had formed a good friendship with Ty Proctor at Sheffield so When you look at the 16 Fast Track reserves this season, there are some tough races for these guys but it is a bit crazy that in the Premier League they get to face Stead, King, Lawson and Morris but dont get to race them in the Elite League which is supposed to be harder. Much of the noise from management over the winter has concerned the prospect of having a No.1 capable of going out and winning the first race to set the tone of the meeting. That being so, one would have to presume Lindgren is the man. It was but when you look at the format, is that the best place to have your only true heat leader ? Poole, Kings Lynn, Coventry and Belle Vue have three regular heat leaders and they are going to be tough to beat.

greyhoundp
Iv only been made aware this week admission is £18, its to be hoped their is some success on track or i can see Wolves being in big trouble through the gate, and i dont mean Tapes either.
T.N.T.
You could pay £18 at other tracks and not see any passing all night while at Monmore you get to see RACING !!
