hyderd
They can't as free movement of trade and work applies to all EU countries. That doesn't answer how they get away with doing it, maybe they threaten to not use him in the 1-7. On another note from that video clip. Where were the fans?????, if support that small continues then the Polish clubs will soon go bankrupt.
weatherwatcher
From the items that have come out over the internet a lot of the Polish clubs are really struggling and some of them are on the verge of becoming bankrupt. The fans are staying away and they are paying far to much for the top riders to be in the teams. It seems that the riders are calling the shots on their points and apperance money and they are now at the point of getting very greedy. The same is happening over there as happened to speedway over here, the top riders where asking for far to much and the promoters, decideded enough was enough. It was at that point that the riders, would not ride over here for the money they where being offered and rode in Poland and Sweden. It now seems that the time has come for them to call the shots, either you ride for less or the club shuts down. They are now in a catch 22, go for less and as we have seen riders are coming back over here again. They are pricing thereselves out of a job if they don't come to their senses. Even the top Polish clubs are really struggling. Could be good for speedway over here again, if they find out that the money they are getting in Poland or Sweden is now about the same as over here. One or two clubs are still paying the top bucks and it is now time for them to say no or go out of business.
SCB
On another note from that video clip. Where were the fans?????, if support that small continues then the Polish clubs will soon go bankrupt. While over here we change full price for the riders to "test set ups" and "try things" the Poles do it behind closed doors. I doubt the riders get paid but they hope a good result will mean a team place.

T.N.T.
Piotr could have ridden last year but chose not to. I hope Tobi has more of a backbone. Piotr wanted to ride here but if Leszno say No and they organise a practice session that makes it impossible to do both, he is left with no option but to miss England as he would face a ban if he misses his Polish commitments and that ban would also stop him riding elsewhere so he is left with no option. Being 21+ does help as there are lots of "junior" meetings in Poland and being the WU21 Champion in waiting made it even more important for them to protect him. As for Tobiasz, if you look at the squad Leszno have this year it is a credit to be picked with the likes of Pedersen, Emil, Pawlicki brothers, THJ and Hampel ...... add Tobiasz and it almost weakens the top 1-7 !!! Think Tobiasz will be a big success for Wolves and if he can maintain a six plus average he will have done his job riding at #1 or #5 from the start. Freddie will no doubt find the new format hard but hopefully having a more balanced line up could help ?

Tobiasz will be completing for his team spot with Zengi as they have to have 2 riders in the top 5 that are Poles. Shamek Pawlicki, Zengi and Musielak will be completing for those two spots. mdmc82
PK sounds like he is having a good meeting at Wolves so far tonight.
T.N.T.
Well last night showed that Ricky was carrying on from his good form at the end of last year while PK started well and Jacob looked consistant. Freddie wasn't his dominant self from a few years ago but it's early days and no doubt Tobiasz will get better as the weeks go on as he was on the pace. Lewis Blackbird will take some stopping in the reserves races and should show a few second strings the way home but Josh Bates will need to be quicker from the gate and not making so many mistakes on the bends. He certainly gives it everything and could just click and prove why he is the British U21 Champion. As for pairings and riding numbers ? ....... think the format doesn't really do much but as Tobiasz may need time, the #5 does get to go out alongside the other heat leaders so maybe he could be better there and give Freddie the #1. Don't really think there is too much difference either way but look forward to Friday at Coventry where anything could happen.
