kingbee
I agree with the Mick Horton statement that fixtures can't be changed and they will carry on regardless and if changes are needed or guests used then so be it. Poole have Chris Holder in limbo while Dakota North and Davey Watt are clear to ride and they have many other assets that can fill the positions required like Janowski, Pawlicki, Milik, Madsen, Mroczka, Walasek, Protasiewicz, Grajczonek (exempt) plus Kasprzak, Lindback and many more. Add to those Richie Worrall, Ricky Wells, Jonas Kylmakorpi, Jonas Davidsson, Mads Korneliussen, Timo Lahti, Nicolai Klindt, Pontus Aspgren etc etc and of course Ben Barker who I hope is the favourite to be signed if Mads isn't interested in riding over here or for Wolves. Pawlicki is not a Poole asset
T.N.T.
Pawlicki is not a Poole asset But Poole were allowed to talk to him as Coventry didn't want to use him and he wanted to stay at Poole if he returned so they are more likely to sign him. Barker rode as a heat leader in 18 out of 19 Elite League meetings last season and scored 117 points. Most heat leaders saw their averages drop last season and his 5.85 starting figure could easily be a bargain as he starts as the fifth rider in the team if he signs. He only misses one meeting and can score points away, which is good because his record at Monmore is not great.

Something of a backhanded argument in favour of the signing, but I see what you mean.

Gemini
Ah...thanks. I'll sleep tonight now. Well, if I can get the thought of Lewis Bridger riding for us instead out of my mind.

T.N.T.
love it how fans don't want certain riders even when they are club assets and can do a good job for the club. Barker can't sign for Coventry as they have King (on loan) and Stuart Robson (on loan) there already plus both reserves doubling up. Ben saw his average drop last season but he was a heat leader for most of the season and still scored well home and away. Lewis Bridger looks set to be in at Coventry on a 6.72 average which is more impressive when you consider he rode in 36 Elite League matches last season and only 11 were as a second string. I know we have Ricky Wells in the wings and I have said I would rather pick Ben Barker but that is because Ben is usually around a 7 average and feel he could score better away and we will need points on the road if we are to do anything and Freddie will need as much help as possible. He only technically rode one EL meeting in 2014 - for Coventry vs Leicester. They have removed Birminghams scores from averages.

SCB
So Edward Kennett is riding on his 2013 average of 6.39 is he ? Kennett didnt ride EL in 2014 so he comes in on a converted averages (which I'm not convinced is right). While Ben, due to riding a single meeting for Coventry keeps his EL average. Right farce. Gemini
It seems that all is well on the western front so you can go back into your hibernation... I don't know about that now as the latest rumour seems to be Bridger to Coventry so I'm wide awake again. .....TNT......love it how fans don't want certain riders even when they are club assets and can do a good job for the club. So what happened to Nicki Pedersen making a reappearance for Wolves then? I seem to remember a lot of fans never wanting him back again even though he is an asset and could do a good job for the club. Wolfsbane
Trouble is, his good job included fencing team mates and fighting with them. Sign him up, set PK on him in the first match, then use guests for the rest of the season.
