Wolverhampton 2015

Even though this year half the teams make the play-offs, recent history tells us that as a team Belle Vue (sadly) always seem to be less than the sum of their parts rather than more. I think it would be great for the sport if they had a good season, new stadium hopefully looming and so on, but I rather fear that somehow they will find a way to ###### disaster from the jaws of triumph.

Goodness, that's a zealous filter! The censored word starts with s, rhymes with 'catch' and means to grab.

Lol.........it's a proper word....wonder if clunge is allowed?....

Unbelievable?!! what is this world coming to...wont be able to use the nickname for Richard next....Dick....and a Hen needs her Cock to mate with....

Kylmakorpi will not fit ,his average is too high....Wolves have 6.19 to play with

Even better. Mads is the better option.

Plus looking at statements made that we are waiting on decision of owned club Swindon are still waiting to fill there line up, whilst I cant see Eastbourne waiting for Joonas in the NL!

Leon Madsen 6.10 is a Poole asset so he is a possible but he has no sign of wanting to come back to Britain after his one year spell at Wimborne Road.

Mads seems to be the obvious one but for many a season I have always thought Simon Gustafsson 5.92 had a lot more to offer than what he was restricted to while at Eastbourne. Last season he started slowly at Swindon but really started to score well and his scores only went down a little due to finishing the season as a heat leader. Imagine in a team with three other Swede;s he could do well.

Out of the two I think I would give Gustafsson a go not a lot between them both can have good meetings and bad .

Hasn't Simon taken a year out of the sport as lost interest in it a bit?

Have heard he is not planning on riding over here in 2015 but with PK, Freddie and Jacob in the team and a well run club, he could do well.

Although I have not been a great fan of his, one rider that I have found I like more these days that could do a decent job at Wolves is Ben Barker ...... a number of fans will say NO !!! ...... But he is a proven points scorer and an entertainer and what's more British and I can't remember the last time Wolves started without a Brit in the team (top 5 now)

Barking up the wrong tree.

Think id have Nicolai Klindt back rather than Barker.

I'm not a lover of Ben Barker but agree he could do a job. He's an all action rider and gives his all.I am concerned however that our team won't be strong enough to challenge for the playoffs Whoever we get.

On the other hand if Freddie comes back with a bang and holds his average,PK returns to form (which I believe and hope he does),Jacob increases his average and continues where he left off and TobiasZ turns out to be a smart signing then who knows. We have done it before where on paper we have not looked very strong but in reality did the bizz on the track.

So let's hope that PA and cvs have got it right.....We deserve a good season

UP THE WOLVES

I like Nic but I don't think he can do it anymore.Don't know what the issue is but he just isn't the same rider.

what is Proctors average?

Ben Barker can be a match winner and over recent years he has changed from being the brash little brat to a family man and seems to have grown up and I believe he is the sort of rider that Wolves not only like to have in the team but would benefit from as a second string or back up heat leader for Freddie and can certainly increase his average back to around seven points a meeting.

It appears he isn't the main target but I think of the names suggested he would be the one that could be the best option and most reliable.

1 - Fredrik Lindgren

2 - Peter Karlsson

3 - Tobiasz Museliak

4 - Ben Barker

5 - Jacob Thorssell

6 - Lewis Blackbird

7 - Josh Bates

Maybe not the strongest on paper but a line up that could suprise a few

To the Wolves fans mentioning Nicolai Klindt..He finished last season fifth

in Scunthorpes averages .I don't know if he has it anymore to compete in

the Elite league.

In fact on last season performance we would be better off with

wait for it, David Howe LOL

Last season Klindt was a lot better for Leicester in the Elite league than he was for Scunthorpe.

I think he would have possibly been back at Leicester this year if looking for 5pt rider but would be silly the waste 1.7 of the team limit

Wolves seem to be in a similar position to Leicester they don't want to complete the team until they know what riders Poole are making available this year
