INCOGNITO
Does PK and Jonas K fit (don't know how to spell his surname ) No they don't so if one signs the other won't fit. With PK it leaves 6.19 so riders that fit are Zengota, Korneliussen or Wells. With Kylmakorpi only Zengota wouldn't fit from those three but Wolves are looking at getting a heat leader to back up Lindgren who will be fighting to get back on Mondays after signing to ride in Latvia in the Polish Leagues. superguest
Kylmakopri is freddies best friend. Can see him fitting in well. However, I do hope we sign a true heatleader. Shame no Piotr

Shame no Piotr I wouldn't count Tai Woffinden out of the running completely yet. He will not want to be sitting around til April or May to start league racing and could change his mind in the new year.
superguest
I think thats extremely unlikely. Its a terrible situation to have two riders on 7.3ish averages with potential for big increases sitting out the league. Just hope no one else benefits from those figures.

Tommy Sweetman
No I don't read it enlighten meThe jest of it --Tai says, cant see him ever riding in the Elite League unless they change it to one night a week. Not a pretty story to read tbh.Sounds like he was holding a gun to the BSPA,s head.

Thanks Tommy, all I can really say to that is fk Tai just because he won the world championship the other year he thinks he is bigger than the sport all I know is that when he fails abroad we tell him to go do one if he wanted back in UK. INCOGNITO
Tai explains in the Speedway Star that he feels he is much better for him to stay fit and healthy during 2015 and that means something had to change. He says how deals in Sweden and Poland were sorted some time ago and as he pointed out during this year if the Elite League was changed to a more fixed calendar then he (and others) would consider riding here. He doesn't want to miss riding here but he now has a racing calendar of Sunday Tuesday and the GP's which suits him and others like Greg KK and Nicki (top three) just fine. My original post was simply saying that once the season approaches he could start regretting not racing here as the other leagues start late in the year. He does say he will look at his options in 12 months time but Tai is a racer and could be tempted to sign for the first few months before being released

Sorry, but that was never ever going to be an option with most promoters not owning their own track. If we all went along with the views that Tai has taken, there would be no Elite League for us to go and watch. Hes done himself no favours with some of the comments that he has written, and probably lost a few fans in the process.
INCOGNITO
I think many realise the position he is in and understand the way he has decided to approach the forthcoming season but I must admit that if there was an opportunity to share a position at Wolverhampton then I am surprised he didn't take it. Even if it was to share with Peter Karlsson or Piotr Pawlicki it would have been good for all parties as Britain gets to keep their number one rider and he gets to have meetings in March and April before the GP's start. As it is now it is looking more and more like they are not going to get another heat leader and will settle for club assets like Karlsson and Wells to complete the team. Would Davey Watt and Richie Worrall be a better combination ? Is there any chance of Maciej Janowski coming in from Poole and Wolves keeping the popular Lasse Bjerre ? Whichever is the strongest option is up for speculation but one thing Wolverhampton are known for is their loyalty to assets and therefore Wells and Karlsson seem to be the most likely combination at the moment. Did he think that the British promoters had got it wrong for the last 6 years while learning his craft with Wolverhamton.

No! If Maciej chooses not to return to Poole in 2015 due to his increased racing commitments in the GPs, then he won't race anywhere else in the UK! sommelier
I am absolutely amazed with some of your comments regarding Tai. IMO Tai last year conducted himself as a great ambassador to the sport, yes last year he had a few ups and downs for Wolves but I think he gave 100% his best at all times. Gees there is no pleasing some people!

Gees there is no pleasing some people! He struggled for form at the begining of the season. Getting injured in our first away meeting with three big falls. Then he found his form in Poland and the Grand Prixs, and even in the British final. He then had some really poor home performances which where he was clearly not pushing himself in the first turn. He started to have one brilliant meeting at home against Coventry, including a Last to Paid 2nd win .However, he came out into the crowd to raise money and then struggled afterwards. Then he rode at Cardiff, including his bike ride and then off to Poland and Back for us. He said he felt ill but still drove to Stansted and raced in Sweden. I think we can all understand he had too much going on. But his scores in Poland and Sweden last season were brilliant. He has made the obvious choice but I just hope his pay masters in these countries arent slow otherwise he will miss Britian and especially Wolves were he has been looked after since 2009.
