SCB
His original point was that Harris is better than Lingren!! No, it wasn't. I mocked someone for suggesting a rider in the GPs is better than one who isn't when Stevebrum agreed, so used Harris and Lindgren as an example. I have used the same example again. Harris is not better than Lindgren but he is in the GPs and Lindgren is not. Kind of irrelevant, for a start, PK went years not being in the GP series but was better than a lot of riders who did make it, certainly in the EL anyway. Kitch87
Didn't realise Musielak was in the National team and selected for GP wild card. And now you are comparing the Swedish national team to the polish national team (and Sweden's pool of riders to Poland's). You really are quite bizarre aren't you? Go back to your other planet. You must think berntzon is better than piotr pawlicki too then going off your rules. Jesus Christ. PK was also alot better than some who rode in the world cup for Sweden too but didn't in the team. I missed that point then, i took it to mean you thought Harris was better than Lindgren.
Beowulf
My main concern, at this point in time, is who is going to be the second heat leader now that Woffy has 'declined' I favour a top down approach to team building rather than bottom up! Shirl
Such an exciting team....Great to watch...and I think if the Doc hadnt been sacked they could have been champions... Definitely 3 finals in 3 years is testament to that I remember Coppel and Hill absolutely terrorising their full backs .Fantastic viewing especially when they beat Derby County 2-0 in the semi final.Poor old Hugh Johns wasn't happy on Star Soccer Edited November 28, 2014 by Shirl
dougie70
Lindgren is much better than harris, its not even close as he will prove next season in the league and has proved over and over again. Although harris maybe in the gp's next year, lindgren got nearly twice as many points as harris this year Freddie is a much more consistent rider I would have Freddie any day over bomber and I'm a belle vue fan never rated bomber even when he rode for us would be better in premier or as a second string never been or will be a heat leader good luck this year anyway meant to say sorry tai isn't riding here this year Edited November 28, 2014 by dougie70

You must have been the only one that put 2 and 2 together and came up with 4. Cant wait for your next ground breaking Speedway fact that no one else would ever guess.

People tend to forget his amazing cardiff gp win, he isnt the same rider now but he is still good in the league and hopefully will be rejuvenated nexf season

Harris average is similar to Kildemand and Batchelor, are they PL riders? Harris is one of very few heat leaders who improved his average last season. Considering the EL clubs are only allowed 2 riders over 7 I'd say he is comfortably a EL heatleader. fish keeper
So we have Freddie Lindgren 8.94 Jacob Thorsell 6.25 Tobiasz Musielak 6.00 ? at 21.19 That leaves 12.81 for the last two I would like to see Lasse Bjerre back on a 4.66 leaving 8.15 for another heat leader and Lewis and Bates at reserve .Emil Sayfudinov on 8.00 would be ok but doubtful. We can all dream on Fish, some would say ah but hes not riding in the Gp,s. But back to the same old chestnut. Poland-- sunday. UK--------monday. Sweden--tues. Afraid its our race night that limits our choice of riders. They just dont want the hassle of commuting back and forth to Europe, tbh after watching the Tai documentary cant say i really blame them. INCOGNITO
Where has this assessed average of 6 come from? - Huge gamble on a 6 IMHO. He is nowhere neat the standard of Berntzon who was also rumoured a 6. Musielak is in fact much better than Berntzon and has been a prolific scorer at reserve for Leszno for a few years and improving each season while Berntzon has made big strides forward in 2014 and apart from a few meetings in Sweden and the WTC, it could be claimed Oliver is more 5.00 than 6.00 like Musielak. TBF, how many riders in the EL didnt get 6 last year? Its not that hard to average 6 as a second string and frankly, any new foreigner should come in on a minimum of 6. If all new foreigners came in on 6.00 then I can guess you would be the first on here when a new 5.00 rider suddenly gets given a 6.00 rider instead and no longer fits in the team So we have Freddie Lindgren 8.94 Jacob Thorsell 6.25 Tobiasz Musielak 6.00 ? at 21.19 That leaves 12.81 for the last two I would like to see Lasse Bjerre back on a 4.66 leaving 8.15 for another heat leader and Lewis and Bates at reserve .Emil Sayfudinov on 8.00 would be ok but doubtful. Emil would be a great signing for any club but Wolves would be unlikely to meet his demands unlike the two clubs that have asked about his availability since he has backed out of the GP's once again. Would certainly be a great signing for British Speedway and before Bees fans get excited, you are not one of the two The issue over Piotr Pawlicki last season made Wolves think twice about using young Polish riders again, but they got on well with Piotr and he loved it at Monmore Green and if there was two Leszno riders travelling together and one being over 21, it could make a difference. The fans have let it be known they want to see him return at some stage and CVS and Adams revealed that they hadn't ruled him out of the plans for 2015. A heat leader partnership of Lindgren and Pawlicki would be as strong as most coming to the tapes next season and heats 13 and 15 can be vital and it may be worth the risk of bringing him back and hoping for the best. Lets face it, if it doesn't work out then Wolves wouldn't find it hard to find a replacement as they know a certain rider on a 7.03 average who could come in for the final weeks or months if required. Lasse Bjerre even on 4.67 looks a better bet than Proctor, Klindt or any rider upto 5.49
