INCOGNITO
Shared Roll Offer It has been mentioned that there was an offer for Tai to share the number one position with another rider. Firstly CVS and Petet Adams have both made comments on job sharing saying it was not a good idea and would rather have a rider committed to the full fixture list. Also the key part is it was an offer to share the #1 position. Unlikely to be available with a 34 point limit and Tai on such a low average and Fredrik Lindgren already said he would want to ride in all the fixtures to make it viable to set up for the season with bikes and mechanics. When the tapes go up in March lets see how many riders with a six plus average or greatwr are no longer ridibg here Tai Woffinden Bjarne Pedersen Lewis Bridger Let's see where the list goes to

INCOGNITO
Think 40/60 is being optimistic and more likely it's 20/80 but the concern ia once the season starts will the phone go and a team wants to talk to Tai. Those were the figures quoted by PA so its 40/60 at present. Should have said 5/95 really
BWitcher
Well, we almost and indeed should have had the perfect draft. Congratulations on handing Poole the best rider in Tier 2 of the draft.

Not knocking Bates, decent rider. But when Starke was available....
phillipsr
Starke is a far better rider regardless of Bates winning a one off meeting
Tommy Sweetman
Starke is a far better rider regardless of Bates winning a one off meeting But Bates is six years younger. Think that might have come into the equation.
Wolfsbane
TNT has another 40 on his list yet I've been told that Woffinden had every intention of riding this year, till Wolfsbane put a stop to it. I still have no idea what you are on about with this 'stop' business?? The way this team's shaping up and what riders are still available it would appear that my same old, same old theory is in the process of being borne out unfortunately. And now we have the remarkable decision to take Josh Bates instead of Paul Starke. CVS & Adams, never let us down Edited November 26, 2014 by Wolfsbane
SCB
But Bates is six years younger. Think that might have come into the equation. Great, so in 2020 Bates might be the better rider.but right now Starke is. So it's gone from Woffy, Berntzon and Garrity to Wells, Proctor and Starke and now it's Wells, Proctor and Bates. You'll be signing Stichauer and Sowka next week

Neither do I Wolfsbane (in relation to the original post), but where there's smoke there is fire, so I blame you for all Wolves woes in recent seasons now... stevebrum
Should have said 5/95 really Given the timing of the press release from Tai it should have 100% no chance. Terrible decision to pick Bates. What were CVS and PA. Thinking Odd i must admit. I expected Starke also. Bates tho clearly is a bright kid with much to offer so far. Lets face it you only need 1 good reserve and in Blackbird we have the rider that was top averaged in the draft for 2014.
