stevebrum
If you want a fast track reserve Lewis Blackbird will suit Wolverhampton. Obviously knows the track with his time at Cradley . Last season he was easily Eastbournes best rider and Kyle Newman apart was easily the best starter at fast track. By mid season he was excellent at Arlington and fully recovered from injury he wont let anybody down. Imagine he will be highly sort after though. The point was made on another thread teams may not have the option to select who they want if the draft works the same way as last season. Leicester could end up with Blackbird or Garrity. as it should be.

It wouldn't be the first time What seems likely is that Blackbird, Garrity, Kerr etc will no longer be draft riders. There will be one fast track per team from a list to include the likes of Morris, Ellis, Morley etc. So Blackbird & Morris at 6 & 7? Or are they saying last season's highest fast trackers must be in the 1-5? Confused.

But it would be good to have say the top 4 draft riders (Blackbird, Newman, Kerr and Garrity) added to a list of say, Auty, Birks etc so that there are 8 riders in for the number 6 berth and then draft riders like Morley, Sarjeant, Morris, Jacobs etc can be selected for number 7. But non of this ranking this time and certainly not in mid season when you get draft positions changed quite drastically. (Note to Phil Morris, i understand your explanation on the `Compton` matter but to me there was too much of a drop in positions for me personally).
greyhoundp
I do believe Rob Branford was planning to return in 2015, a good signing for someone.
INCOGNITO
If James Sarjeant and Nathan Greaves are still draft riders next season then Coventry and wherever Greaves ends up will be a bonus. Steve Worrall also and Paul Starke but think the top four named already are a step or two ahead of the rest. While he may not have been a big scorer Tom Perry didn't do a bad job and showed signs of improvement but needs to gate better.

Perry seems to have gone backwards the past 2 seasons running. I am sure there will be better options.

Dont think Morris or Perry did enough away from the Green, although still plenty of time for improvement.

clambo71
Watt to wolves We had enough problems with Woffy last season. We don't need Watt on one of his average lowering sojourns away from Wimbourne road
INCOGNITO
Davey Watt used to be a track specialist but in recent seasons he has in large struggled at a number of away tracks and it would be a surprise to see Wolves sign a rider of his age and desire to double up. If there is no Woffinden or Lindgren back next season then they will look forward more than back or at least until 2016 when Pawlicki will be 21 and no longer a reserve in Poland. If any Australian rider signs for Wolverhampton then it would most likely be Jason Doyle or Rory Schlein.
superguest
Wouldnt mind Watt to be fair. He can be exceptional at times, and as long as hes the middleman hed be great for the team imo. But i cant see his average fitting or working with Jacob and hopefully Berzton!!

Just dosent fit Wolves DNA.Our normal policy is to sign young up and coming riders(bar one the season before last) Dosent tick any boxes for me. T.N.T.
Didn't we sign Steve Johnston to replace Sam Ermolenko !! Can't see any suprise signings like that as its not the sort of the rider that would fit in with Thorssell and Berntzon and probably no better than Peter Karlsson points wise. If you have to include a draft rider in the main body then I would go for Paul Starke or Lewis Blackbird but if it is just a British rider somewhere in the main body I would love it to be Tai but if not Craig Cook could be a good choice. T.N.T.
NO TAI WOFFINDEN IN 2015 Although it has to be confirmed by official means I have been told tonight that Tai will NOT be riding in Britain next season and will be concentrating on the GP's, Poland and Sweden. Tai along with others like Kildemand, Janowski, Iversen and others had expressed concerns about riding in so many meetings here and on various race nights so it would seem that the AGM going on at present is moving ahead with a 28 match Elite League season. Countershaftcounter
Good old "British" Tai, taking his toys away cos uk speedway didn't jump to his tune. Go back home to Oz
stevebrum
Watt to wolves No Watt or Ward at Wolves thanks. Good old "British" Tai, taking his toys away cos uk speedway didn't jump to his tune. Go back home to Oz Just ignore the fact that most other GP riders are saying exactly the same and have voted with their feet shall will. We should be doing all that we can to entice all the big boys back AND keep our BRITISH WORLD CHAMP on these shores. His `home` is Scunthorpe by birth. T.N.T.
I would love to see Wolves start the season with Freddie and Tai but it looks unlikley and I don't blame Tai one little bit for missing the next season as he can see by past results that the riders that perform the best don't ride here anymore. World Champion Greg Hancock World number two Krzysztof Kasprzak World number three Nicki Pedersen World number six Andreas Jonsson World number seven Chris Holder World number eight Jarek Hampel Add to these Bartosz Zmarzlik, Tomasz Gollob, Adrian Meidzinski and many more who these days have so many meetings it doesn't fit in riding in a league that has fixtures spread across various race nights meaning more time spent in airports and on the road. While he was pleased to hand over the title to Greg last month, I know deep down that really hurt and in 2015 he is determined to do all he can in getting that title back and that means leading a more settled race schedule like Greg, KK and the rest. So next season Wolves need to find a new number one or go for a more settled and balanced line up. Much will depend on the race format that was unbalanced last season but I think the more sensible way is for a balanced line up. If it stays at 32 for the top five and there has to be a British rider in the main body then how about 7.58 Scott Nichols 6.25 Jacob Thorssell 6.22 Rory Schlein 6.21 Craig Cook 6.00 Oliver Berntzon Res Paul Starke FTR Morris or Perry All can score points and you won't get many last places which in turn means you won't lose many meetings home or away. Rory Schlein may be available as they look to be going for a powerful top two of Bjerre and a 9 point rider !!!
