fish keeper
What will the points limit be using the three on TNT;s list which I agree with comes to 20.19 .32.00 for the top 5 maybe leaving 11.81 for the last
stevebrum
Don't think Ty would qualify as a fast track reserve !! Thats assuming there will be 2 FTR`s again! One would be better.

BWitcher
If Tai decides he wants to ride in the UK next season then he is an absolute no brainer on a 7.03 average. Even 'going through the motions' he would achieve that and likely more if the league is weaker again. Should he get his set up right from the off we know he could add 2 - 2.5 pts back onto that. Without the pressure and responsibility of being World Champion I believe he would.. IF he chose to race here. In addition, I've no doubt if he did ride here again he would have a point to prove too. Likewise PK. Even the PK of last season would achieve 6.12 with ease riding at Monmore each week. Again though, fresh start, set up right from the off and the confidence of riding for Wolves each week I believe would see him lift that average. Perhaps not back into the 8 zone, but certainly around 7. If Cook is available he could be a decent shout. To complete the top 5 Thorssell and Bernzton. That would give us a very deep lineup of Woffinden PK Cook Thorssell Bernzton. Woffinden can still be the No 1 rider in the league. PK provides the experience that Wolves teams seem to struggle without. Cook we know can do better after a dip last year and then two youngsters in Thorssell who is improving every year and the potential of Bernzton. Get at least 1 strong FTD rider and we'd be looking good.

That team looks good - the only doubt I would have is Cook who seems to rely too much on his gating for me - having said that I can't think of an alternative at the moment. fish keeper
How about Rory Schlein as a 6.22 average did ok when guesting and don't he ride on a British license .

With an average of nearly 2 points below that of Freddie,it would be nonsencesical not to use that to our advantage. And if ,as TNT quoted in an earlier post that we could get Bernzton in on a 5 point average,a combined total of twelve for these two would be a no-brainer.
stevebrum
How about Rory Schlein as a 6.22 average did ok when guesting and don't he ride on a British license . Schlein did a grand job when guesting for us but he has a low average for a reason - his usual average is bout 7 so there is very little improvement to be had. IF we are going down the route of a solid line up (lord forbid if we do) then Rory would be a perfect addition however we will be in for a very long season with that kind of line up. I am sure one of Tai or Freddie will be back - if not both.
T.N.T.
Thats assuming there will be 2 FTR`s again! One would be better. Pretty sure Berntzon will be 6.00 às Tobias Musielak looks like he could be at Swindon on a 6.00 average also.

Wolfsbane
If he's fully recovered, Blackbird looks to be the one to aim for. Cook was a suggestion I hadn't considered. Personally I'd rather Bjerre minor. If Cook moves full time Elite and stops fannying about being a flat pitch bully in the PL, then maybe. stevebrum
We had a long season this season Tai let us down big stile so we need Freddie back to lead from the front. IF Tai is committed to the EL (this season he has pretty much been going through the motions) then on that average its a no brainer.

I'd also like Freddie back but unless both Fred and Tai can be fitted in we can't let some other team take advantage of Tai's low average. BluPanther
Freddie, Tai, Jacob and Berntzon would be a good solid base imo.

superguest
Put Lasse with them and that would be pretty solid top 5.Plenty of options. Key factors are imo1) does fred want to return? 2) can tai promise to prioritise the uk more? 3) will there be clashes with the premier league for our ftrs/ lasse? 4) will their be clashes with our swedes on thurs? Tommy Sweetman
IF Tai is committed to the EL (this season he has pretty much been going through the motions) then on that average its a no brainer. Not only that,it would be irresponsible of the Wolves management not to use him on that average. Its unlikely Tai will ever be on 7 again,so we must take advantage of that while we can.
fish keeper
Freddie 8.94 Tai 7.03 Jacob 6.25 Lasse 4.66 Oliver Bernzton we need to come on a 5.00 and that would make 31.88 just under last seasons 32 points limit I would be happy with that top 5 plus two FTR.
INCOGNITO
Bernzton will be 6.00 and Wolverhampton look pretty much sure that Thorssell and Bjerre are the main priorities which comes in at just 16.92 so presuming it is 32.00 again then it leaves 15.08 for the last two. That's just enough for Freddie and PK but that doesn't include a British rider in the main body which points to Woffinden or Cook being the key targets. Signing Cook leaves enough for Harris or Nicholls but Bomber is surely the Coventry first signing but would Nicholls fit in at Belle Vue again ?
Hackett
If you want a fast track reserve Lewis Blackbird will suit Wolverhampton. Obviously knows the track with his time at Cradley . Last season he was easily Eastbournes best rider and Kyle Newman apart was easily the best starter at fast track. By mid season he was excellent at Arlington and fully recovered from injury he wont let anybody down. Imagine he will be highly sort after though.
