superguest
Forget the rumours of Jason Garrity joining but it could be that the experienced reserve next season or second string draft couo be Lewis Blackbird Would be out of character for us but with eastbourne no longer in the EL it would seem possible! Ashley Morris hasnt ridden since his crash at Kings Lynn. Maybe would let him get race fit again at PL level before signing?

CVS has already said that he has spoken to him and will speak to Len Silver in the winter.

mdmc82
When Wolves rode the B match at Coventry Peter Yorke said that he had interviewed Garrity and Garrity had told him he doesn't want to leave Coventry. Wolfie Yes when both Coventry and Wolves were there for same meeting, Garrity said he had mentioned he liked the Wolves track but that didn't mean he wanted to race there. He said Coventry is where he wants to be next year. I guess though we will all just have to wait and see when teams announced. Maybe Coventry could use a swap deal of Kennett for Garrity as assets with Rye House. Edited October 29, 2014 by mdmc82

Cant see a way they would both be fitted in the team. With possibly three from Sweden, and a new No1?,wouldnt be room for both.

Wolfie We all know riders say what they want fans to hear. The lad will go where he wants, at present our options are wide so its no loss if he stays with Cov.

If Fricke stays at Edinburgh then you can forget him riding for Coventry so any other EL side is a possibility. Will they allow non-EU DUs next season? superguest
Its a shame riders like Max are going to be forced out of the EL. They need to allow Aussies & Yanks atleast one season of doubling up imo! Edited October 30, 2014 by superguest

If the rule (which stopped Rory doubling up) is put in place from the start of the season, meaning Aussie riders can't double up then Fricke would have to pick either PL or EL anyway. If that does happen then I can see him riding for either Edinburgh or Coventry depending on their promotions team building. Inevitable that Fricke will at some stage leave the PL for the Elite League full time, but what team(s) can really afford the fee that the Monarchs would be asking for. Undoubtably the next best talent to come out of Oz since Darcy Ward(was his fee £30k ?).So thats going to put most sides out of the equation. Really only Poole have that kind of money, but dont know wether they really want him. Hard to see CVS or Horton coming anywhere near the figure payed out for Darcy,so could it be a team that could offer someone in part exchange to tempt Edinburgh

IMHO riders like Fricke (and you can add Craig Cook, Richie Worrall etc to that list) need to move up to the EL and look at contracts abroad to help further their careers. Staying in the PL and doubling up is the safe option and wont progress their career any further.

Max rode in denmark all season when available and also signed for torun last season but obviously never got an actual competitive meeting under his belt. Hopefully the lad will go that route and not stay on in the PL. He has already shown he can make a difference in the already weak EL. Exactly right, Cook particularly is much too good for the PL, if he wants to move his career forward that's the way to go
INCOGNITO
Max Fricke is likely to have another season in the Premier League before joining the Elite League and Poole seem to have a good chance of him with the Torun connection and the Turbo Twins. Garrity could still be a target but with Thorssell and Bernzton likely and Bjerre a target it could be Coventry get their wish and possibly even include Kennett in a deal even if it's on loan. Blackbird and Starke would be a good partnership at reserve but it seems they may be looking at moving one into the main body of the team which should be to help leave room for a high averaging rider at number one. I have heard however that Craig Cook seems to be a possible signing on a full transfer so Wolves may be looking at a more balanced line up like Thorssell Cook Bernzton Bjerre and one more heat leader like Woffinden or Schlein. Blackbird or Starke at reserve with Morris or Perry ?
superguest
Are you related to TNT? Hope Cook does move from Vue but wouldnt want to put too much pressure on him leaving the PL as it obviously gives him a lot of his confidence! Time will tell. If the kid wants another PL season he will. Cant see how he will benefit personally.
Countershaftcounter
Looking at some of the FTD riders this year Ellis seems to fly around our track if he can be tempted away from Lakeside, paid 10 last time he rode there.
